GnR already won the game so I guess it’s pointless to call a penalty for Excessive Celebration and Unsportsmanlike Conduct! LOL! <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

Welcome Rockers, Peeps and other Rock Band Freaks!!!!

Are you Ready for a RockFight !!!

        Tonight we have:

In a Death defying Scaffold Match

        Black Sabbath
        vs.
        Pearl Jam

The RockFight Arena is full to capacity tonight for a showcase event. Once again the crowd is all in either leather or flannel.

We head to the ring where ring announcer Towelie Buffer readies himself to speak to the crowd.
TB – “Welcome RockFight Fans! Tonight our feature match-up is a a Scaffold Match. There is a large scaffold structure more than 15 above the ring tonight as you can see.”

Towlie Buffer points at the monstrous scaffolding that starts on each side of the ring with a catwalk between them that goes over the ring.

TB – “The rules are simple… Two men from each team will climb the scaffold. To win you must throw or make your opponents fall from the scaffold to the ring. Last team with someone on the scaffold wins. Only two members from each team can climb the scaffold. Other band-mates must stay on the ground. They can prevent people from climbing down, but cannot climb the scaffold. Having more than 2 members from a team on the scaffold will result in a disqualification.” “Here to enforce tonight’s rules, is a special enforcer. That official’s job is to make sure all is fair. I’d like to welcome our special enforcer… Colonel Dell!!”

Down the aisle-way, we see the super buff Colonel Dell. The crowd roars as “The Colonel” enters the ring. “The Colonel” takes

        the mic.

CD – “I’m here to keep order and fairness in this scaffold match!!” “I’m ‘The Colonel’ and I take no shit. Get outta line and I’ll make you you pay. Make book on that!!!”

The ring clears and it looks like we are getting close to bell time for our RockFight!

As we pan around the Arena, we see Steven Adler from last week’s winners, Guns N Roses. Also in the crowd, we see Em Despana from the TV show Mr. Knife. We also see the Insane Clown Posse signing autographs at a merch table up front.

We head to ringside, where we join Gordon Caray and “The Funk Master” Floyd Cooper.

GC – “Welcome back to another great night of RockFight action!”
FM – “Scaffold matches are scary as hell. Just the height alone is dangerous, but attempting to knock one another off this monstrous structure is pure lunacy!”
GC – “At Rockfights, there is no match too dangerous. We also have a special enforcer in the ring tonight. Colonel Dell is a bad-ass. He will make sure this match is fair.” “This scaffold can only hold four men, so teams are going to have to choose which members will climb the scaffold and which will defend at ring level.”

The arena goes dark! We see lightning in the air and here the music. Here comes Black Sabbath: Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Bill Ward and Geezer Butler. The crowd goes wild. It is a long, slow procession to the ring. The crowd loves Sabbath. They begin to enter the ring and talk with referee “Bad Ass” Bobby Light.

At ringside, RockFight officials look on from there ringside table. Commissioner Sam J Glarms sits with RockFight officials Bob-Wayne Zim, Dom Epietro and SC Smith. Physicians Dr. Housequake MD and Spindoctor are here at ringside.

We go to JJ Nagin, who is standing by with Pearl Jam members Eddie Vedder, Jeff Ament, Mike McCready, Stone Gossard and Matt Cameron. Eddie Vedder is wearing wide wale pants and a t-shirt that says ‘Can we just evolve please?’.
JJ – “I would like to welcome Pearl Jam!!”
EV – “We are here tonight, ready to win. We have been training hard for this match!!”
JA – “I hope Sabbath took their Geritol today, they are gonna need it!”
MM – “Damn!! That thing is tall!!”
SG – “Me and Matt are on the ground for sure!!”
        MC – “I agree!!”
JJ – “So who will be on the scaffold?”
EV – “That would Jeff and I! We love to climb. Be ready Sabbath, we mean business!”
JA – “We ain’t fallin’ off that thing! Better hold on tight, old dudes!! You could break a hip!!”
JJ – “Thank you for your time! Have a good fight!!”

We see Pearl Jam walk away step by step and we head immediately back to the announce desk,

GC – “I hear music… It must be Pearl Jam!!”
        The crowd cheers loudly!!
FM – “We have a young crowd here tonight. And they love their Pearl Jam!!”

GC – “Pearl Jam collectively rush the ring. Eddie Vedder and Jeff Ament begin to climb immediately as the other Pearl Jam members watch them climb and prepare to protect them from danger from the the ground.” “Black Sabbath has gathered underneath the scaffold and they all look up. They huddle up. After a few moments of strategy discussion, Ozzy and Tony begin to climb the scaffold. All four men now stand atop this dangerous structure. It is very, very shaky. All the men struggle to get their balance. The catwalk is only 6 feet wide, so there isn’t too much room for error.”
FM – “The guys from Pearl Jam look to have gotten their balance first. I hear Eddie is always climbing things, so he may prove very valuable in this kind of match!” “Sabbath appears to have their bearings and balance!”
GC – “The referee Bobby Light calls for the bell. The match begins with both sides being a bit tentative. Nobody is taking this height lightly, everyone is cautious due to the instability of this scaffold!” “All four men approach each other in the center of the catwalk, directly over the ring’s center.” “Eddie and Ozzy begin to exchange punches. Back and forth they throw exceedingly hard punches. The action shakes the scaffold. Both Jeff Ament and Tony Iommi start to teeter back and forth. Both men fall over the edge of the scaffold and cling to the catwalk hanging by their hands only. Both hold on for dear life. Ozzy lands a low blow on Eddie and Eddie drops to his knees in pain. Ozzy moves along to try to help Tony Iommi back up. He stops to step on the fingers of Jeff Ament, who almost falls but manages to hang on. Ozzy moves on to help Iommi. Vedder is back up and charges forward hitting Ozzy with a spear. Both men tumble over the edge and hang on to the catwalk. Now, all four men are hanging off this scaffold directly over the center of the ring. They begin to kick at each other, who will be able to hang on the longest?”

That is all the time we have for tonight!!

Come back Saturday to see the exciting conclusion unfold!!

GC – “For The Funkster and JJ, this is Gordon Caray. Have a drink or two, we are going to!” “We’ll see ya Saturday!!”

I suspect I have a snowballs chance in hell (in a cell) but I would love Pearl Jam to win this Rock Fight.

          Hey there Rockers,

This week’s RockFight conclusion may be slightly delayed. My grandfather passed away Monday evening. I have a funeral and some family things.

It may be Sunday, when the conclusion finally airs. I will let you all know what is up. My grandfather was in his 90th year and was an incredible man. He was a throwback to the days where hard work and honesty are what makes a man, a man. He worked hard and loved life. He taught me many valuable things. All things aside, it was amazing to even get to be part of his life!

Okay, enough sad stuff! I just wanted to let everyone know there may be a small delay in RockFight Black Sabbath vs. Pearl Jam’s conclusion.

It will rock… maybe on Saturday or Sunday!!!
