January 16, 2017 at 9:37 pm #480285Hey there Rockers,
Welcome back to the Funhouse!! Thank you all for your Birthday well-wishes for Sy. We hope you had a great weekend! This week we set a milestone with our release. As of Saturday, we will have 700 songs in the C3 Customs Database. That is a mighty feat and we are thrilled to celebrate that milestone with a great release. This week, we have some pretty big stuff for you. So, let’s get right to the clues.
Hint for Song #1
To get this ball rolling, we have one of the biggest bands ever. The song is the 8th track from the band’s 18X Platinum selling debut album. The song is one of my favorites from the band’s catalogue. The song was written by the band’s rhythm guitarist.Hint for Song #2
In the second position this week, we have an artist returning to the Funhouse. He returns with the first single from an album in which the artist used his real last name for the first time. The song reached #9 on the Billboard Hot 100.Hint for Song #3
For the third track this week, I picked a Homestate musical master. The song is from the first album with his long-time backing band. The song makes a perfect opening track to this artist’s ninth studio album. As we age, this song makes more sense.Hint for Song #4
In the clean-up spot this week, we have a great R&B Reggae fusion track. It features sample of songs performed by Steve Miller and Juice Newton. The song also features a pair of West Indian vocalists.Hint for Song #5
Next up, we have a song by band led by two brothers. The song is, at least partially the title track from this band’s second studio album. It was released as a single in Australia and a radio single in the US.Hint for Song #6
For the final track this week, we have an awesome Japanese rock trio. The song sounds a bit like American Surf-rock or Rockabilly. They were brought to fame when one of my all-time favorite film directors used this song in one of his films. The band were live performers in the film.We had 5 “Big Brains” last week, let’s see if we can get all the clues again this week.

“Morning Glory” is a song by the English rock band Oasis, written by Noel Gallagher, and released on the band’s second album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? in September 1995. It was given an Australian-only single release and was also a radio single in the United States.

January 16, 2017 at 10:12 pm #480291#5 – Oasis – Morning Glory
Hm. If so that’s another I’ll have to take off my WiP. Not that I’m bitter, mind you. I had only started a tempo map and it wasn’t going that well anyway. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />
Looking forward to this week!

Haha I’ve still got that one!
Honestly I’m much more trusting of Nun and Sy’s ability to produce high-quality customs than my own. If anyone’s gonna chart “Morning Glory”, I’m glad it’s them.
January 21, 2017 at 4:40 pm #480436Hey there Rockers,
The weekend has finally returned to the Funhouse! It is a mighty big milestone for us this week. This week, the Funhouse now has 700 songs in the database here at C3. We committed to bringing you the best music to experience in the world of Rock Band Customs. We wanted to take over the weekly excitement C3 provided. We want to thank all of you that come here and read my ramblings every week. We’ll talk more about the Anniversary later, now let’s get to the 700th song Milestone release.
