I searched the database and it didn’t come up.
January 9, 2017 at 10:23 pm #480013#4 Outkast-Roses
i hope see this! more outkast…
January 9, 2017 at 10:27 pm #480014I searched the database and it didn’t come up.
try this link, this song is not on database is on forum, i already had him on my flash drive, look this tropic:January 9, 2017 at 11:27 pm #480019I’m willing to bet #2 is “Fast Car” even with the other custom out there. “Flashdance” hit #1 on the Hot 100 and I wouldn’t consider Irene Cara a “folk” artist anyway.
For #3 I’m guessing “Little Willy” by (the) Sweet.
January 9, 2017 at 11:57 pm #480025Hmmm, this could go two ways, but I’m guessing #5 is Redman- Smash Sumthin.
Also, I’m hoping that Outkast pick is right as well
January 10, 2017 at 12:04 am #480026#6 – Will Smith – Summertime
January 10, 2017 at 12:28 am #480027I’m going with #6. Will Smith – “Switch”
January 10, 2017 at 2:51 am #480032Not much left. Um…
#1 Trivium – Down From The Sky.
January 10, 2017 at 5:45 pm #480045Three years ago today I received a private message. It started like this
I just wanted to personally thank you for all the cool songs you have done.
That is a good way to start a message, in my book. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> Then again, I’ve been fortunate enough to have received more than a few of those, and I appreciate every single one of them. This one continued:
I keep at it (authoring), but without a Mr. Miyagi (Sorry for Karate Kid reference) to show me first hand. I’m afraid I’ll never make it through to finished product. I want to start doin FoF or Phase Shift conversions, to practice with Magma. I’m ok with Reaper (with some things). I would love it if someone could lead me to a good tutorial on it.
Again, not entirely different than some messages I get. This one was different though, because it said:
I would love to give back to the game that helped me get through my issues
I never do mentoring in any aspect of my life. I should, I probably will, but I barely keep up with my life as it is and it’s hard for me to actively help someone step by step. But he said a few things about his issues that I won’t go into details here and that made me think. I gave it some thought and I offered him a deal: I give you a preview copy of my full tutorial for beginners, you help me with some feedback on it.
That was 3 years ago. That guy is Nunchuck. He wanted so bad to contribute that he eventually started the most successful project here on the forums post-C3 (yes, House of Customs has nothing on you guys). And yes, Sy is a master, one of those guys that make you go “How does he do that in so little time?”, but Nunchuck lit the flame and he still carries it today. He wanted something, he made it happen: only a select few individuals accomplish something like that. He is one of the nicest persons I have ever met, honest to the core, a genuinely good human being. And Nunchuck, I could literally not be happier that I chose to send you that tutorial and started helping you out 3 years ago, you are a mentor’s dream come true. You have taken so little and given back so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you contributed, I look forward as the rest of the community does to your amazing work. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>

You and Nunchuck and Syg (and others!) are pretty much superheroes at this point.

I hope it’s Little Willy. That would be sooo much fun!!!
January 12, 2017 at 7:25 pm #480118It took me a day or two to comment on the post of Farottone. I am deeply touched and it means so much to me. I am thrilled I pleased my mentor. Farottone is truly a great guy. He is more then “The Godfather of Customs”, he is a caring and incredible person. I am so pleased to call him my friend. His talent and commitment are only topped by his heart!!
This game and community has given so much to all of us. I wanted so badly to add to this wonderful game that had given me so much joy. I have exceeded every expectation I had. In large part due to my partner Sy. He is an amazing and talented dude. I am so lucky to have been able to be part of this team. We have worked very hard to make this the best damn game anybody ever played. We tried to make the forums engaging and fun with Hints and special promotions. We have done so many songs and made so many of my Rock N’ Roll dreams come true and hopefully a few for you peeps. It is great to be part of something you truly love! I have made so many friends here. As we move into the future filled with change and struggle, do your best to be part of something you love and…
Always Remember to Rock Out… Life is Short!
January 13, 2017 at 4:08 am #480145I’ve only been here a year but I quickly came to enjoy my bi-weekly routine of checking Nun&Sy’s thread for hints and releases (and even had opportunities to collaborate with these fine gentlemen) and it’s been incredibly fun doing so. Keep doing what you’re doing guys.
The important thing we can take away from this is Farottone keeps three year-old PMs.
Not implying anything. Just an observation.
