Hey there Rockers,
As the New Year approaches, we have a few clues to our next release. We at the Funhouse hope you have been having great times this Holiday season. We have one last set of hints for you all before we close the book on 2016.

Everyone crank up your thinking caps, it’s time!

 

Hint for Song #1
To start things off, we have a song by a band returning to the Funhouse. Well, actually the band has been in the Funhouse, had a song charted, then it was upgraded and then sadly, pulled due to Official release by Harmonix. This week’s song was the second single from the band’s second studio album. As you may have figured, this is a very timely release.

 

Hint for Song #2
Next up, one of my all-time-favorite artists returns to the Funhouse with the 2nd single off his 13th studio album. This song also marks the first album with a new backing band. The song reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. We’re certain the song will rise to the top of your playlist.

 

Hint for Song #3
My last pick this week has very little to make a clue from. It is an awesome dance/electronic song. It deals with the subject of drunkeness. The artist also had songs with Frank Sinatra and Judge Judy in titles. If anyone has actually heard this song let me know. It was super tough to hint for. It is a great sounding track, the video may cause seizures though, so be careful in your searching.

 

Hint for Song #4
In the clean-up spot, we have an anti-work anthem. The artist is a singer, song-writer and producer. The song is often used in sporting events, mostly to celebrate touchdowns. In fact if you are a Cheese-Head you already know the answer. It was also used in a cruise ship ad campaign.

 

Hint for Song #5
Next, we have a song that may have been the first cassette single ever. This track by an all-female group, was the title track of their second studio album. It did well, on the Billboard chart peaking at no.8. This classic track has appeared in TV many times, including The Simpsons, Scrubs and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

 

Hint for Song #6
To finish of this release, we have an album cut from one of the premier hard rock bands ever. The song appeared on the band’s multi-platinum second studio album. The song which is the album’s 9th track, is a great example of this band’s sound, which features innovative guitar work and a dreamy-good chorus.
