November 3, 2016 at 5:21 am #477213Hey Chicago, whaddya say…
November 3, 2016 at 8:50 am #477217Even I actually watched the last few innings.
You must have gone through every emotion.
Did I hear right that it was the longest drought in sports trophy history, or was he mistaken?
Happy for you, Nunchuck. Go Cubs Go!

Thank you for the kindness and Cub love everyone. I did go through all emotions. I cheered, I paced with my head in my hands, I worried, I kept the faith and then I cheered a mighty cheer and then I cried and and remembered all those, who like me are lifelong Cubs fans, that didn’t get to see the Cubs finally do it. Much love to all the Cubs faithful of all-time this win was for all of them. Today we all shine together!!!
Go Cubs Go!! Go Cubs Go!! Hey Cubs fans whaddya say, We all win today. Go cubs Go!!
November 3, 2016 at 1:42 pm #477222Thank you A TON Nunchuck for making me care about the World Series. I have witnessed one of the best game 7 of all time and that’s priceless! So happy for you buddy. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> Very sorry on the other hand for Cleveland, but that’s sport I guess.
November 3, 2016 at 1:50 pm #477223Congrats Nunchuck and to all Cubs fans. Being a life long Cardinals Fan I’ve gotten to feel this 11 times……. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> LOL
Nice win didn’t think it would happen after you went down 3 games to 1, but in the end the Trophy is yours !
Savor the victory…….See you next year at Busch Stadium ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
As Harry Carey would have said, The Cubs Win The Cubs Win !!
November 3, 2016 at 2:19 pm #477228Enjoy it Cubbies, it is a euphoric experience as a fan to have a victory like that. As a beloved Cavs fan, Beard216 and I can attest to the agony and emotions we went through on that wild journey. Same situation, down 3-1 in the series and came back to win it all against insurmountable odds.
As depressing as it was to see the Indians lose, it was truly a great Game 7 for the ages.
November 3, 2016 at 7:53 pm #477241Down 3-1, came back to 3-3, final game needed a 10th inning because of a tie in the 9th…it’s like some cinematic experience that rival films like The Natural.
First world series win in 108 years. I couldn’t imagine how the team felt throughout that final game.

I felt so bad for my buddy Nunchuck….and then I felt even worse after I realized I asked for something in return for Uncle Funk Meister’s Mojo ritual. This guy and Sy have unselfishly put out so much for the community, I just couldn’t bear to see it go down that way. I took matters upon myself to pay the price for the ritual. Heck, these guys take it upon themselves to give us all this Rock n’ Roll goodness every frickin’ week, it was the least I could do …..
About 2 1/2 hrs. before the start of each game, I start by taking a baseball style cap with a Seattle Seahawks logo on it, turn it inside out and wear it, stand on my right leg only and hop in a complete clockwise rotation 108 times. When that phase is complete, I pop open 3 bottles of Rainier beer, dab a splash behind each ear then guzzle down the rest in one gulp and let out an obnoxious belch, repeat for the next 2 bottles of beer. Fire up RB3 and play “Go Cubs Go”. After each completion of the song I recite this chant…..”Boom, Boom, Beast mode,Boss!” The song and the chant is done 12 times.
Repeat the beer step. Repeat the leg hopping step, only this time….I use my left leg and hop in a counter clockwise rotation 108 times (gotta be careful with this step, there’s a 6 pk. of beer sloshing around inside).
Truthfully, I didn’t know if the mojo was powerful enough, it actually went to a tie in the bottom of the 9th….. Man, what a game! At this point I had to pop in John Fogerty’s “Centerfield” on the stereo, I figured both teams just played their fricking hearts out, this one’s for the love of the game! Both teams have the heart, but there’s only one champion!
The price?……you walk around on wobbly legs from all that hopping, bumpin’ into shit from the dizziness of going in circles and your mother in law looks on in disgust exclaiming you’ve had one too many, to which you adamantly deny any wrong doing. She doesn’t buy it though…..you smell like a damn brewery! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
I gotta give props to the Cleveland Indians organization though. The players and coach….Class Act! They may have lost this year’s World Series…….but they’re Winners in every way!
