April 4, 2015 at 8:24 pm #442070Lovin the 80’s Rockin the house style guys, RATT was my favorite band growing up in the 80’s, I went to see them on their Out of the cellar tour with Billy Squier was alot of fun, Any RATT Song that makes it to rock band gets my vote.
Keep up the great work and hope you keep us 80’s Rockers in mind…
Thanks
RR
April 6, 2015 at 8:08 pm #442171Playing these 80’s tracks this past weekend really took me back to my teens for a while. The Ratt & Motley Crue songs were very popular with the group I had over yesterday. I always have a huge soft spot for all the 80’s arena rock stuff (or as some call it “Hair Metal”). Growing up in NYC and being a teenager during the height of the original “Headbanger’s Ball” era, there was a time when we were going to see bands such as these almost nightly. Whether it be at arena or at a club there was always someone cool to see. I think I even saw Ratt & Motley Crue on the same bill once or twice. Thanks for the trip down memory lane guys, and also for the insufferable hangover that I’ve been dealing with all day. I have once again proven the obvious, that when it comes to drinking (and just about everything else) feeling like a teenager is vastly different from actually being one.
April 7, 2015 at 1:21 am #442181Hey there Rockers,
Happy Monday. Back with a new batch of hints for you. Let’s see how you do this week.
Hint for song # 1 -This Houston Texas alternative rock band’s big single reached #2 on the Modern Rock Chart and went platinum. The band features brothers, oddly they aren’t the only band that has brothers in it this week.
Hint for song # 2 -Another band that features brothers. This song is about their local Maryland radio station’s all day live music show.
Hint for song # 3 -This song is a hard rock classic that features vocals by a future solo act and lead singer of one of the biggest rock bands of all time. This is one sweet track.
Hint for song # 4 -The next song is one of two songs to appear on the same live action video game movie soundtrack. It also appeared on on EP of tracks from collections and soundtracks.
Hint for song # 5 -The next song also from that soundtrack, it features a singer that replaced hint #3’s singer as singer in one of the biggest rock bands of all time.
Hint for song # 6 -The last song is a British Electronic band’s take on an old TV theme.
Best of luck everyone. Are you the next name on the Hints Hall of Fame?

April 8, 2015 at 1:53 pm #442295Defo good Charlotte there,
April 8, 2015 at 4:08 pm #442300The only video game movie soundtrack I can think of at the moment is Mortal Kombat, and since MKX is coming out soon, I’m going to guess that.
April 8, 2015 at 6:50 pm #442311Jeez, I’m thinking #4 might be Halcyon + On + On by Orbital.
That would suggest an electronic music themed week, and would be phenomenal!
April 9, 2015 at 4:55 pm #442350I was listening to the radio on a road trip yesterday and heard this song that kept using the phrase, “hot, sweet, and sticky”. I immediately thought of one of the clues Nunchuck had posted. I looked down and took note of what band/song was playing so I could toss a suggestion on this thread.
Only to realize that for #3 Montrose – Rock Candy had been posed, but I’m absolutely going to have to second that guess.

April 11, 2015 at 4:03 pm #442530Always thought Breakpoint was a solid, lesser known, Megadeth song. Thank you for making it.
