Very surprised how much I enjoyed Stay and Pina colada. Stay brings me back to being 12 years old and loving that song but the drums were very fun and Pina Colada song was also much more interesting to play than I ever would have thought. As a bonus the Pina Colada is the first drink I ever had as I hate beer

It is Monday again and that means it is time for some brain exercise. We have another fun-filled release coming this weekend. here are the clues to what this release will contain. Let’s see who has the “Big Brains” this week.Hint for Song #1
Let’s start this off right. Our first song was the second certified platinum rap single ever, this artist also had the first one as well. The song features samples from Funkedelic, Foreigner, the Rolling Stones, Kiss, Free and BTO. Also, Song #1 is the only song I know that mentions the Stroh’s Beer mascot.Hint for Song #2
Our next offering is the second single off this artist’s 5X Platinum album. This song has a distinct Reggae feel, furthered by a guest artist, who is from the First Family of Reggae. This song was also released as an I-Tunes exclusive single before the release of the album. We welcome this artist to the Funhouse for the first time.Hint for Song #3
Our third track this week is from one of my favorite soul artists of all time. He has been to the Funhouse before with an awesome song and he returns with another Saturday. The song was the lead single off one of the coolest Blaxploitation movie soundtracks ever. This Grammy-nominated song peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #2 on the R&B charts. It has been covered and sampled many times.Hint for Song #4
For our fourth track, we have an artist who’s sister recently made her trip to the Funhouse. Now this artist is following in her sister’s footsteps. The song is the second single from her third studio album. This Top 20 single was released during the height of the artist’s reality show. The video featured her difficulty in understanding and doing even the most simple things.Hint for Song #5
Our next song is a Rap/Metal collaboration. It is the Grand Daddy of all Rap/Metal collaborations. It was initially a song for the rap act, but the metal act added an awesome sound to the song. This song was actually featured in a rhythm games before but with a different metal act. This is the first Funhouse visit for the rappers but not the metal band.Hint for Song #6
The final track this week is from a band that has been to the Funhouse many times and is one of Sy’s favorite bands. The song was track #6 on the band’s second and final studio album, as they changed their band name after being released by their label. There weren’t really singles from the album but, they did make a video for this song.We had an excellent few weeks as far as correct answers go. Let’s see if we can light them all up again.
