    Gentlemen,

This is a big week for us as well. Wang Chung and The Guess Who are welcome additions to our library, but Billy Ocean in RB3 is huge for me…so HUGE, I’m speechless……

    Hey there Rockers,
It is Monday again and that means it is time put on your thinking caps and sleuth down these clues to our next release. We have 6 new tracks headed your way and here are the hints for what they will be. The first three being a theme pack and the others just singles.

    Have a good time!!

    Hints for Song #1
    – At its release, this song is the only US Billboard Hot 100 #1 song by an unsigned artist. It also was #1 on Billboard’s Radio Songs and Top 40 Mainstream charts as well as #1 in Canada Top Singles chart.
    – This Grammy-nominated singer was a neighbor of Ethan Hawke. He actually was responsible for her big break with this song and he directed the video for the song.
    – This song was featured on a film soundtrack.

    Hints for Song #2
    – This song was the last Billboard #1 of the 1970’s. It was also the 2nd #1 song of the 1980’s.
    – This song’s title was (reluctantly) changed, so people would more easily recognize this super-popular radio song.
    – This one-hit-wonder took a little-drank cocktail and made it something you could order at nearly any bar.

    Hints for Song #3
    – The band was signed by Clive Davis, a legendary record executive who has nurtured the careers of many successful artists.
    – This song is included in almost every 70’s one-hit-wonder compilation ever.
    – Song #3’s title made Barry Manilow decide to change the title of a cover he was doing to avoid confusion with this Billboard #1 hit song. That song became one of Barry’ Manilow’s most well-known songs.

    Hints for Song #4
    – This Grammy-winning artist has also won a Tony Award, an Emmy Award and a MTV Video Music Award
    – This song was the the fifth single from this artist’s Platinum debut album.
    – The song is a cover; it was actually recorded by the song writer’s band and was an underground hit before this artist recorded it.

    Hints for Song #5
    – This English indie rock band has had all 12 of their studio albums reach the Top 40 in the UK album chart.
    – This song is the lead single off of their 9th studio album, which had a very pleasing title.
    – This song was in the Doug Liman film Jumper.

    Hints for Song #6
    – This band was one of the lead bands in the new wave of British heavy metal.
    – The song was the opening track from the band’s fourth studio album, which was named after metal’s favorite clothing materials.
    – The classic metal song is actually about a powerful train, despite the title.

We has 5 “Big Brains” this week and you got them all. Nice work everyone!!!
