Great release – I am kicking myself that I didn’t verbalize my guess of Porno for Pyros – Pets. And Banditos? NICE. That song sounds perfect for Rock Band.

YES, Tommy the fricken’ Cat! And I swear I was just listening to that Porno for Pyros album yesterday. I guess I must have figured out that hint in my sub-conscious because lord knows my regular conscious is usually baffled by those clues (but I still love reading them every week though). Huge thanks to you guys for all the work you put into these releases that directly translates to so much more fun for all of us who love this game*.

Hey there Rockers,

Happy monday. That means it is hint time again. The next release is a milestone for Sygenysis and I. It includes our 100th release together. We didn’t have one song that we wanted to do as a 100th song. Instead we have a 6 pack of songs we hope you will really dig on. All the songs are one theme much like last week. Let’s test those rock trivia brains out there. Here we go.

 

Hint for song #1 -If you take 26 strings of guitar and some of the highest vocals in all of metal you get run over by this track.

 

Hint for song #2 -Our next song is from a returning RB act that have alot of content already, but this track from their first album has more cowbell.

 

Hint for song #3 -The next song comes from a Hollywood, California band’s second album. They have been in RB before. Previous names of this band were Crystal Pystal and Buster Cherry.

 

Hint for song #4 -This song is part of a concept album based on a short story by the band’s drummer. The strangely titled album was given it’s title by a joking roadie.

 

Hint for song #5 -This hard rock anthem was used in a Tony Danza movie soundtrack. This band also features a member with one of two mohawks on vocalists this week.

 

Hint for song #6 -This band has toured with the greats of metal, including bands we have done releases for. This song has nothing to do With South Dakota despite it’s title. Also, I have a great story that includes this band and me getting concert tickets from Alice Copper’s mom in 1991, but we will save that for later. It is 100% true, Alice Cooper’s mom.
