My Nirvana guesses:
Nirvana – The Man Who Sold The World (Live from MTV Unplugged)Nirvana – Pennyroyal Tea (Live from MTV Unplugged)Nirvana – All Apologies (Live from MTV Unplugged)I was going to guess 2 of those, my third swap out All Apologies and sub in Plateau from Unplugged as well.
Either way I imagine I’m grabbing everything this week.
March 15, 2016 at 3:28 pm #465352you sir have done it, you have charted the Tom Petty songs i wanted ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />, i may now die in peace thanks!
“Sirs”. They be a glorious partnership that bequeath weekly jewels of the Rock Band playing variety to an adoringly receptive audience.
March 15, 2016 at 3:31 pm #465353This is correct! Let the Nirvana song answers begin.
Nice work, you answered that perfectly. Thank you!!
Thank you. I think my guesses will be “Come As You Are” and “Lithium” NON-LIVE VERSIONS and “The Man Who Sold The World (Unplugged)” I can never remember the stipulations for creating Album versions for live versions. I don’t even know what I just said, but either way. Im VERY excited for both of these packs. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Release Notes
These Nirvana unplugged tracks were my nomination. The peeps spoke and it was one of the highest voted and it received no last place votes. It was the only band to not get any votes for last. Originally the pack was just Plateau, Oh Me and The Man Who Sold the World. We added Pennyroyal Tea as a bonus.
Plateau and Oh Me are part of the Meat Puppets trilogy on Unplugged. We brought you Lake of Fire in the past, today the trilogy is complete. These are great songs. The Man Who Sold the World is a David Bowie cover. We did the original Bowie version a while back. Pennyroyal Tea is just Kurt and his guitar. We hope you dig these tracks as much as we do.
Sugar Ray is a sweet band. Fly and Someday were both popular on the radio and Rhyme Stealer is from my Favorite Sugar Ray album Lemonade and Brownies. if you never listened to that record, you should.

March 19, 2016 at 2:05 pm #465608Oh man, those Nirvana songs are great, I hope they get pitched vocals since I typically play as a harmony group.
March 19, 2016 at 2:15 pm #465609Another Awesome week from you guys. Thanks for the Sugar Ray & Nirvana + bonus song.
It should be no secret your customs are the most played at every RB3 party I have.
And when I fly solo I’m banging on the drum all day to Nun & Sy customs along with many others !!
If you 2 guys were in MLB no doubt about Hall of Fame.
Because every Sat. you knock it out of the Park ! LOL
As always Thank You very much for the awesome Tunes, Time to fire up the E-kit & fly solo.
March 19, 2016 at 2:20 pm #465610Those three Sugar Ray songs I’ve wanted to do for a few years, especially Someday, which my friend showed me back in high school along with a few Led Zeppelin tracks that got me back into music at a fairly difficult time in my life. Regardless, all three of those Sugar Ray tracks are amazing, and some of my favorite songs of all time.
Rhyme Stealer comes from the less commercially successful times of the band, where they had a more funk metal sound, and Rhyme Stealer perfectly represents that era. It doesn’t have any crazy solos or anything on the core instruments, but has a turntable solo like a few other songs that we’ve done, which is the only part played on keys.
For the h3h3productions theme, it’s a bonus to anyone who watches Ethan and Hila at all, they’re definitely my favorite Youtube channel, and they hit 1 million subscribers recently, so I figured it’d be as good time as any to chart their main theme song. It’s not challenging at all, drums have the same disco flip rhythm for most of the song, and keys are somewhat repetitive, but there’s enough variation to keep it interesting.
Funnily enough I listened to the whole Nirvana Unplugged on CD while driving back last night. I think even though acoustic guitar charting isn’t my strong point, I’m definitely satisfied with how each of those songs turned out, and it’s fitting, since the guitar parts on those are the highlight.
March 19, 2016 at 3:39 pm #465612I just needed to chime in and say thank you so much for the last few incredible weeks.I love the hell out of all the packs, but especially the Petty, Franz Ferdinand, and Nirvana. I also really appreciate the amount of Canadian stuff Nunchuck in particular charts. I assume you get lots on the radio living so close to the border?
You should really check out the band Monster Truck. It’s right up your alley.
March 19, 2016 at 4:23 pm #465615Another awesome week by you guys! Love your stuff and agree on Monster Truck.
March 19, 2016 at 4:31 pm #465617I think “Oh Me” is my favorite Nirvana song followed very closely by “Man Who Sold the World”. The rest is gravy – delicious, delicious gravy! Couldn’t have asked for a better week from you guys, thank you so much. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
March 19, 2016 at 6:04 pm #465619Thank you for the Sugar Ray!!!
March 19, 2016 at 6:59 pm #465624Nirvana unplugged!!! Every single week this thread is like a gushing fountain of joy, or perhaps even a “Funhouse” of some sort (yeah, that’s certainly a much better way of putting it). I haven’t posted in a while but I still lurk in the shadows enjoying all that goes on. As always, your generous gifts will once again bring much happiness to the people, for that we thank you.
March 20, 2016 at 12:29 am #465634Jeez – these are some GREAT choices! Thanks guys!
