I’m pretty confident that the band pack is of NOFX, so taking a stab at one of them I’m gonna say that Song 3 is “What’s the Matter with Parents Today?” It fits the riddle part of the clue because it’s a question and it fits the sounds familiar part of the clue because the previous album had “What’s the Matter with Kids Today?” on it.

 

Just to clarify, when you say one guess per post you do mean that I should only be taking one guess for one song per week, correct?

I think the songs this week are a little on the obscure side, so I think going crazy with guesses should be fair.

 

I didn’t want to say anything, but it’s a little late into the week, so should be fine. Some bands in this pack and some recent releases are strangely connected, we didn’t even plan on it. Most of the songs are on the obscure/unknown side, and some are on the hyper-difficult side, but I hope everyone will like the release!

Welcome to another week of very cool songs. This week is a three pack of Ugly Kid Joe. You are probably looking at them and asking yourself, “What is this stuff ?” Well, these are tracks that came after their height of popularity. They are all super cool. We wouldn’t post them if they weren’t… trust me. Later, if these go well, we will come back with Neighbor, I Hate Everything About You and more UKJ. This week’s songs from Ugly Kid Joe are among the best they have done. If you haven’t picked up the Ugly Kid Joe – Milkman’s Son from this thread you should.

We also wanted to bring the bass players some love. So we brought you some downright hard bass songs. Manowar provides what may be the most difficult bass I’ve seen. Larry Graham of Graham Central Station is credited with inventing the funk slap bass technique that he called “thumpin′ and pluckin′”. Enjoy that funky bass goodness!

I used to hear this song while roller skating as a youth. It was a big hit in America and a Number one song in their home country.
