I know someone has done this as a custom already, I’m blanking as who, though. I’ll piggyback and hope that it’s Better than Ezra – Desperately Wanting.

My guess for #6 is:
Hammerbox – Trip
And one question: why did you use the censored version of Monster Magnet’s Space Lord? It’s really kinda strange to hear and read ‘Mother Mother’ while you sing ‘Mother F#+#er’
But it is still absolutely fantastic to be able to play this tune at all!

djmike originally did Good, but his customs left a lot to be desired. The Funhouse has done quite a few songs that he had charted, but MUCH improved versions.

This is what Wikipedia says on the subject. “The line, “Space lord, motherfucker,” was truncated and an echo added to make the song more radio- and TV-friendly (the lyric is heard as “Space lord, mother, mother”), but the vocal rhythm is unchanged, and a band version with the original lyric has never been released.” I am a huge Monster Magnet fan and I have only heard a re-mix that featured the actually lyric.

Thanks for clarifying that! I would have sworn that the album version I have came with the original lyrics but I just checked and I was wrong. I also checked the edit version from a compilation and the music video and all feature that ‘Mother, mother’ line.
But I am going to see them live next month and I will be triple checking what they will be singing when or if they play that song. Totally looking forward to that show!
Hey, just a small update, if anyone’s wondering where the usual Funhouse Saturday release is. There was a wind storm where I am, and I lost power and internet for a few days, so the release is going to be a bit later than usual, but we’re both working to get everything ready as soon as possible.
