I second this. Hardly think I’d call Mitchell a one-hit wonder, though – she’s won a ton of grammys going all the way back to ’69. This one has me so stumped I can’t even google my way into a decent guess.

Yeah not having much luck trying to decipher #1.. But the search lead me to this web page which is quite interesting to find out many song you might thought were originals were actually covers.

#6 is most likely from John Frusciante, but good luck guessing the song without a better hint – he released 3 albums in 2004

 

 

I think Song to Sing When I’m Lonely is the only solo song I’ve ever heard from him, so that’s my guess. Can’t believe he’s released that many albums.

Release Notes

Drift Away is one of those great 1970’s tracks that I have wanted for quite a while. Dash Riprock added his magic to the vocals. We are all in for a treat with this one.

Three is a Magic Number was a catchy Schoolhouse Rock Saturday morning cartoon. Blind Melon did this sweet cover.

Power Station – Get It On (Bang a Gong) is a fun cover of a super-awesome T-Rex song. Take part of Duran Duran, part of Chic and add Robert Palmer and you get radio gold.
