Speaking of which, I have a question not for only mazegeek and lowlander but for also other authors and charters. I wonder how do you get split audio files? Are u examinig the original tracks on an audio processing program or dou you get them somwhere else? If first, I can not imagine how much hardworking put on those things to get a clean split file.

It’s impossible to get clean multitracks for modern music songs. However, we don’t discuss sources or methods for multitracks, so I’m afraid we can’t help you there. <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>

      OMGWTF!?

I wonder why there’s no “Open your eyes, Nicholas!” at the end…?

Edit: I re-listened and realized there’s about two minutes of static before that, so I guess that’s why. Probably a good decision.

How awesome is this, Thank so so so much… This will be insanely fun.

      Now I would LOVE to see “A Nightmare To Remember” on x2 drums <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” /> :D <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />

First, they’ll need to see if everyone is agree <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” /> and check the amount of time they have now because of Genesis Albums releases <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

        ONE CRIT FEEDBACK!

why remove the backing soundtrack and dialogue of the characters ? Like finally free for example like after the hypo therapist theres no car noises, no gun shooting and screaming in the middle. i mean sure these tracks are impressive but all the story elements of these tracks have been taken out and they really add something to these tracks so not to have these things in them is kind of weird and strange so i just wonder why it was all taken out ?

It wasn’t in the multitracks, and I asked other people about that problem and it was a general consensus that they should be taken out for Rock Band purposes.

oh ok, it just sounds weird not having them is all, cos its kind of part and parcel of them in the first place, i mean i love the work done on these releases don’t get me wrong but just feels weird to expect to hear them and then don’t hear them. I know they’re just sound effects but its what makes them unique from most albums and bands i listen to and the story is kinda empty without them

        Tasty :c00l:

Not whining about this since it wasn’t much but I did bass on Through Her Eyes and wasn’t credited. Just thought I’d put that out there.

Made an account just to thank all of the people involved in the Octavarium release.

Me and several of my friends have wanted that song for SEVERAL years and it’s such a long song that it was never custom charted before.

When I saw that release and this website I nearly fainted.

I’m going to find a way to download every song you guys have released.

So far all I see is that you can download them individually but as a major Rockband enthusiast “I want it all.”

I read your FAQ and I know about the money situation but just saying I would have gladly payed $5 for Octavarium alone.

I already played it and it was flipping fantastic on drums / vocals.

I don’t really have to play the other parts to know they were charted well.

Thanks for reading this and thanks for the amazing impossible work you guys do.

I had a brain aneurysm just reading that you guys released 81 Genesis songs.

I absolutely love this release week and have been having a blast with Scenes From A Memory and Octavarium. My only question is when I play Octavarium, it sounds very muffled and I was wondering if it was just a bad download I got. If you got any ideas let me know.

          #433811

I appreciate the kind comments. As for the audio being muffled, I don’t think it’s like that in my version. I think the audio quality of the Octavarium album in general though isn’t the greatest production (see: The Root of All Evil) so maybe that’s what you’re getting at.

Also, dreamtheaterfan, I uploaded videos of all the songs on my YouTube channel of the same username if you would like to watch those.

Plus who would really want to do all the moaning parts in the middle of Home. Seriously. All the friends I play with are guys and that would just turn awkward.
