My wife and I just sponsored Timmy the LAMB for a year. He thanks you as well.
” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif”> That’s swell!
November 17, 2014 at 2:06 am #433029Just sight read The Musical Box on pro keys and passed it first try, holy crap! lol
November 17, 2014 at 4:29 am #433035Wish I could play pro keys, I have no idea how people get good at it. Patience and practice I suppose
November 17, 2014 at 3:35 pm #433044Yeah it’s hard even though I’ve been playing piano for over 20 years. The hard part is sight reading it. You can always practice a song to learn it. I got like 65% through The Cinema Show before I failed it. I think I was pretty lucky to even get that far lol.
November 17, 2014 at 4:01 pm #433046Just played through “Supper’s Ready” last night and holy crap! The hours invested in bringing that one song to the people must be uncountable. If a simple five-minute song takes an accomplished author around 25 hours, this one has easily over 120 in just the standard authoring process, never mind everything else (which, of course, explains the pro keys). That easily equates to three pros working a 40-hour week and having to stay for overtime just to bring us one song.
ONE SONG.
This extremely complex custom was created by only two authors. Farottone and Narutostarwars123456 deserve some kind of award for this one. And considering the time of the year, perhaps it should be from
!
Way to go, guys – playing this song was a great ride. Thanks!

It’s just a great song. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> You have forgotten one thing: go listen to the original. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”> When you do that, notice the volumes of each part of the song. Now imagine me playtesting the song the first time and going from music blaring from my speakers to barely being able to hear Gabriel singing. Then picture me tweaking volumes and rebuilding the song 10 times to check all 23 minutes of it. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
However, Naruto needs to take the main credits for this one: he did most of the charts and without his charts this would have simply not happened.

Naruto is the man. Him and I will be working on more Genesis tunes that were not included in the future. They may not be full C3 quality but nobody’s perfect ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

Insanity.
November 17, 2014 at 10:51 pm #433072I had a chance to try some of these tunes out on the weekend, they are absolutely phenominal. I cannot imagine the hours that were put in to making these. Thank you to all the authors, editors, testers & their wives, girlfriends ETC that contributed to this project & continue to do it week after week after week.
I am not sure how many people read the Foreword page that Farottone wrote but I did & I would like to personally thank Farottone for the countless hours of free entertainment you have provided us with & his wife Barbara for being such a lady.
November 18, 2014 at 2:58 am #433083I could write a whole page gushing about how excited this release has made me, or how astounded I am at the number of songs, or appreciative I am of all the countless hours of work that must have went into this release, or how pleased I am that just about every song I wanted is playable, or… well, you get the idea. Well done, and thanks to everyone involved.
One last thought… what, no Ray Wilson? ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />
November 18, 2014 at 10:53 am #433092Thank you guys for all your hard work. It is an amazing achievement!
November 18, 2014 at 10:37 pm #433123Oh wow, I can’t thank you guys enough for this stuff! Amazing pack. You guys rock!
I was familiar with the Phil Collins era Genesis, because of my parents (Home By The Sea and Follow You Follow Me were always a personal favourite). So it’s nice to have some recognizable songs. But the Peter Gabriel stuff is new to me, which is great! I really enjoyed playing the Selling England By The Pound and The Lamb albums. Made me appreciate Genesis and the progressive rock genre a lot more. I can’t stop listening to Firth of Fifth.
The audio track of Home By The Sea is a bit..I dunno..far away. Like it’s silenced a bit. (can’t find the right words)

Great song, I gotta say. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> And a good idea combining parts one and two.
Hats off to Farottone and RUSHEE!
November 19, 2014 at 8:42 pm #433162Once I put on one of the songs on, my dad who stopped singing in Rock Band came in the room and said “that’s Genesis with Peter Gabriel?”, and I said “yes it is dad”. He instantly went to get a mic and we rocked out that night playing a lot of Genesis.
Definitely want to thank everyone who contributed to Genesis Chronicles, they’re a band I liked over the years, but never fully listened to them. And with a lot of their songs, I can finally get into what I have been missing. Thank you C3!
November 20, 2014 at 11:10 pm #433258Supper (with keys) is finally ready. Very sorry for the huge delay.
