Is there a guide as to how to represent each different type of note on guitar? Like Red=? or Red+Green=?

Green is the lowest pitch, Orange is the highest pitch, then you have to wrap the entire guitar part in a way that feels natural with only 5 buttons to choose from.

There are some quasi-standard ways to represent different kinds of chords (major vs. minor vs. 7th vs. jazzier chords). The docs Nightmare Lyra linked to cover those as well. Even then, though, the goal should be to find what feels “good” and “right”, not to enslave yourself to a bunch of rules on something that doesn’t really represent the real thing anyway.

Those rules are specially developed to try and make it feel as realistic as possible though

True, but like I said, the ultimate goal is to find what feels “right”. A green/yellow might feel right for that particular major chord in some cases, while in other cases a green/blue or even a green/red will make more sense. Or, to quote Captain Barbossa, “The code is more what you’d call ‘guidelines’ than actual rules.”
