Hello to everyone,
First, apologies for the ignorance. Just joined. I am a music and rockband/guitar hero enthusiast and have been a musician since I was a kid. It has become incredibly frustrating to me that there aren’t more songs, or the songs I want I suppose (I’m sure like everyone here). How does this work exactly? How can I translate these to my Xbox One or 360? Am I misunderstanding the concept? Again, apologies, and any feedback would be helpful.
– Cheers
Easy peasy.
1. Go straight to the Authoring Tools Support & Advice forum
2. Read the pinned posts!
3. Download and install the tools!
4. ….
many many steps later, a custom song.

Welcome to C3! As Prez said, if you have any songs you want in Rock Band, learning the authoring process is the best way to go!
What these guys said ^^
Install Reaper and the Plugins etc
In Reaper load up the C3 Custom template and you’ll see midi tracks for every possible instrument in the game.
Load up the correct color maps.
At that point you can import your audio and start tempo mapping your song.
Definitely worth checking out PKSage Lets Author video and a number of others that you can find here to get going … there’s a lot of very helpful (essential) documentation to read too ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

Did you want to make your own customs or you looking to figure out how to get these customs to work on your 360?
And no, the Xbox One does not work for customs.
