Its price is even higher than the YouRock Guitar, which is a better MIDI instrument than the Mustang. This new guitar app won’t be that useful for any amount of learning unless it has a way to progress people to learning to play actual music. It could start out with this fake guitar mode where one button press equals a chord, but it could then go to making you memorize chord names instead of button designations, and then since it has a full 15×6 set of buttons they could ultimately present an RB3 pro guitar style mode where you actually had to finger each note in the chord.
it is not a game, they are selling it as a handicap instrument for people that cant learn guitar. it also doesnt attempt to teach real guitar.
you can basically do the same thing with smart chords in garageband
