New Custom Wont Load..

I seem to have another custom loading issue…. the song compiles fine.
Presently it has the drum track only so Magma prompts me to add another – so I use the Crowd track with the MUTE version of the wav.
I only have one copy of the song cache on memory stick(no copy on the XBOX HDD), and this I have deleted /recreated… but as soon as it has parsed the files on the stick and is about to go into the ‘intro-scene’ just before the song appears… XBOX freezes… the controller buttons dont work so I physically have to switch on /off at the console power button.
Having removed the song from the stick and run Rockband again, all is OK.. so this particular custom is the problem. I had figured perhaps the Magma produced file was somehow corrupted so I rebuilt the RB3 Con file once again…. but the same thing happens when I try to run it…. I cant see anything untoward in the Reaper project file and i have followed the same process I have used for many of my other customs I have created without issue…
Could use some suggestions what this could be if anyone has any ideas…thanks in advance.

This happened to me a few weeks ago. It was a corrupted save game file on Xbox HDD.
I deleted the save game file started my band all over again and no more freezing up on load screen.
perhaps give this a try to fix your problem !!
Thanks – but given this is a new custom and hasnt been played / saved before…. I dont think this likely…?
Particularly given that when I remove the song in question the game runs without a problem..
In the absence of any others ideas.. I will give it a go in any case.
Checklist : (& note to self)… when songs wont load
1) delete song cache & old song copy (from both memory stick and XBOX HDD)
2) assign new file ID & version, song name: recompile….
