Okay so first off in the Vocal Charting Tutorial video that C3 has this link:

In the lyrics part he says to press ctrl + A to select all your notes, then Shift + L then select the text file for your lyrics. Ctrl + A does select all the notes as he says, but Shift + L doesn’t work for me he also says something about having the RBN tools installed for Reaper so ill do some searching on google while waiting on replies but can someone please post a link for that?

Also I did try to insert lyrics without doing what he does by pressing Ctrl + A to select all my notes then in the MIDI Editor File>Lyrics>Import Track Lyrics and selecting my text file, but it ends up inserting lyrics nowhere near charted notes and sometimes not word by word.

So then I tried to do it manually by selecting a note then Right Clicking at the bottom to insert a lyric at a charted word ensuring that the lyric highlights with the note when you click the note (The lyric bar changes from a dark red to a bright red when the charted note above it is clicked). but then Magma says that “the lyric APPEARS at so and so time when it is EXPECTED at so and so time.” Again I’m guessing this would be fixed with RBN tools for Reaper but is there something I’m doing wrong?

You probably just need to add the appropriate shortcut to the action.

      Actions Menu|Show Action List

      Section: MIDI Editor

      Filter: lyric

Add the shortcut of your choice to: Import lyrics for selected notes from file.
