How’s the audio you’re exporting from Reaper? All stereo?
~Edit~
Eeyup. Made a quick empty stereo file and it’s building right now. Thx for the help. (Kinda funny cuz I thought it would the other way around but oh well!)
The new Magma does it in a snap. All you have to do is right click on an instrument and choose the right silence track. Don’t even have to make it yourself.
To be clear, all instruments can be mono except drum kit, that must be stereo. At least that’s my understanding.

Ye’h. I figured this out. Actually, the dry vocals MUST be mono so I normally mono-everything; just was never told by the program that Drums must be Stereo… Somebody need to update Magma or something though so Magma will tell the user you MUST use a Stereo sound file for Drum Kit (Like how it already says you must use a mono for dry vocals).
Well anyways. Since now I finally know my problems, I think I start working on drums more often now on. But not quite yet. I’m gonna be away-from-computer for awhile starting Saturday so wont be able to do much… (Just wanted to do the Drums and Keys of probably my most accurate song and I did! *Yay*).
Anyways. Is it possible to lock this thread? Since you know, I’m good now?
I’ll research it and add that check then if that’s the case.
By the way, if you’re starting with stereo stems don’t make them mono unless you know what you’re doing. But that’s if you’re working woth multitracks. If it’s a regular single mp3 in the backing, leave that stereo and use mono silence for all but drum kit. Drum snare and drum kick can be mono.
Reading through this thread I was thinking it was a mono/stereo issue but I see you guys got that sorted before I got to the end of it. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif”>
