Trying to finish things up but Magma is currently having issues with the drum chart…
To quote Magma’s error list…
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART DRUMS): drum mix ‘drums0’ at [1] supports exactly 2 kit channels; this song’s configuration has 1 kit channels
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART DRUMS): drum mix ‘drums0’ at [1] supports exactly 0 kick channels; this song’s configuration has 1 kick channels

Note: It changes accordingly to which Drum Audio setting I have on… That’s all I really know what to change.
… I really don’t know what this all means or at least how to change it accordingly… Help?
August 29, 2013 at 5:37 pm #405266Everytime you change the drum mix in magma, it gives you the drum mix event you need. Edit it in the drums track in reaper to match.

Make sure you’re using our template and you DON’T touch the drums events. Then, in Magma, in the Audio tab, make sure the DRUM MIX is set to “kit”.

I don’t think I have your template plus I already have the whole entire thing charted… Can I get your template then copy+paste the events in and such? Then do the Magma part?

Of course. Grab the template from the threads with all our tools and copy/paste those events. Then always use our template: there’s a fair amount of error you will never see if you use that template. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>

Tbh. This is the only error I’ve ever had with RBN2Template. All other errors are mistake note placing I’ve done but ye’h. Thx if I can get this work and such .
Btw. Do I have to set it on Kit and it’ll figure itself out or what?
August 29, 2013 at 7:12 pm #405279AnonymousAnd that did not worked…
I’m about to call it quits cause this is seriously so wrong…
~Edit~
How about this… Can someone kindly take a look at this for me and see wtf is wrong with it? This is really getting on my nerves and trying my best to keep my language friendly right now.
August 29, 2013 at 7:17 pm #405280Have you read the rbn docs? They explain very clearly what the drum mix events do. The numbers correspond to different audio configurations. If you’re doing a regular custom you have a stereo mute file on your drums. That means you select Kit in magma. Magma will tell you and the default template has that as being mix drums0 … change with 0 1 2 3 since they represent easy medium hard expert respectively. So you’ll have mix 0 drums0, mix 1 drums0, etc.
That goes at the start of your part drums track as text events. Each one is a different event, not one long string with all that at once. There should be something now in your track based on the error…just double click and adjust the drums# part…
August 29, 2013 at 7:21 pm #405281Have you read the rbn docs? But I say: screw that. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif”> Too much stuff to read for something few of us actually use. Standard mix events are fine, that’s why using our template is key.

Post the project, I’ll take a look.

Didn’t share the wav files since I’m assuming you wont need them due to the events are what not working here… That sentence totally makes no sense .
August 29, 2013 at 10:46 pm #405298Project is fine. Makes sure in Magma you set Drum Mix to Kit.
August 29, 2013 at 11:04 pm #405299AnonymousProject is fine. Makes sure in Magma you set Drum Mix to Kit.I do! It is only set to Kit right now and this is what I got:
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART DRUMS): drum mix ‘drums0’ at [1] supports exactly 2 (total) drum channels; this song’s configuration has 1 (total) drum channels
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (PART DRUMS): drum mix ‘drums0’ at [1] supports exactly 2 kit channels; this song’s configuration has 1 kit channels
(x4 since there are 4 different mixes)
From my understanding… I need another Kit channel (Which there is only one) or something in Magma is glitched for me…
August 29, 2013 at 11:14 pm #405300How’s the audio you’re exporting from Reaper? All stereo?
