Hello RB community! My Xbox 360 slim is on it’s last legs, so I’m going to swith to a Xbox 360 E. With that being said, is there any way for me to transfer dlc that’s no longer on the store( Rb1,Rb2,LegoRb) exported songs to the new console? I’d really hate to lose them. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.
Interesting. My 360S has been running great (albeit the fan is incredibly loud but nothing can be done about that) and I got it a few months after its initial release.
In your 360 somewhere (marketplace I think) there should be a iist of previously-downloaded DLC that you have. You can re-download from there. If not, I believe the DLC is still listed in the marketplace so if you bought it on your Xbox account it’ll offer the option to re-download. You have to access from the marketplace, not the RB3 game.
I recently had to re-export my RB1 songs because they were having issues during play so I know it’s possible. I had to search the marketplace to find the export itself but it gave the option to re-download.
Look for the ‘Transfer license option’: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/store/download-content#240b651e832443498b5ac1d969107249

Alright, thank you for the suggestion. I”ll find out Friday once I pick up the new xbox.
Hm. Doesn’t the 360E use the same type of hard drive that the S does? If so, I’m pretty sure you can just swap the hard drives to save yourself a lot of time from downloading.
The only thing you would need after that is to do a license transfer as mentioned above. Once done you should be good to go.
Hopefully they do share the same HD. I’ll give that I try. Thanks!
You are about to leave Rhythm Gaming World and access the external songs DB. Alright, we had to made you aware of this, now you can visit the database!
