Some people just don’t bother to do research. My suggestion is looking through the C3 database, then looking through the forums to see if these songs have been authored in any capacity. List the ones that haven’t been authored yet.

Then do they really want the song (for which they only need 10 seconds total) or do they just post things they would like to see in game but wouldn’t necessarily play? Because asking somebody to spend 10/12 hours on a song you don’t care enough to do a quick search is not the best behaviour honestly.

I agree with you completely. I keep my WIPs to myself so people don’t pester me about it (it’s happened before). Then when I finish it, they don’t play it. I really wish people would just do their damned research before posting stuff.

I’ll get to it eventually unless someone else beats me to it.
Aaron Lewis – Country BoyI’d totally consider it but starting from “‘Cause Hank taught me how to stay alive” the song becomes awful and I cannot get through the rest of it so charting would make me want to put my ears through an impact hammer.

I think you guys are over-reacting a bit…
There were two songs on my list that already had full-band versions, and one of them was a live song, not the studio version, so my request would have still been valid.
And if you count the ones that were put out with some but not all of the instruments, that’s only four more songs from my list. So let’s say 6 songs out of 100… I wasn’t exactly being negligent in searching for the songs.
But I just went through and searched the database for each song on the list and crossed off the two I originally missed, and the Avril Lavigne ones Ultimate Mango just released recently.

Let me understand your thought process. In example, you would really really like to play We’re Not Gonna Take It. So what is the first thing you do in the process of really wanting to play it? Is it searching the database? If the answer is no (which it is because the song in the example is in the D:cool:, why do you not search the DB? Let’s set aside the fact that you consider requesting 100 songs a mitigating factor (it really is not): for each and every song you want, it’s safe to assume you want to play them, and to play them you look for them. Why have you not looked for them? It’s not 3, 4 or 6 out of 100, it’s even one song, because as I said if you want to play each and every song, for each and every song you search DB and forums.
Maybe we ARE over-reacting, maybe there is a good reason we are not seeing for you not spending 10 seconds per song you want, this is why I’m interested in understanding how you went about. But the number of songs you overlooked is irrelevant, because you want to play each song you requested, so it’s safe to say you want to find those songs.

It isn’t that I didn’t want to look for, and by extension, play the song.
I have a big list of songs on my computer that I’d like to get on Rock Band. Usually, when one comes out as DLC, or if it shows up in the database on here, I get it and delete it from the list. We’re Not Gonna Take It and Move in Onover are just ones that I forgot to remove from the list. I had actually downloaded them already when I posted this – so it’s not that I didn’t look for them, it’s that I didn’t do due diligence with my list before posting it here.
I understand your frustration – I just thought the first five comments on the post being nothing but scorn for missing two songs was a bit much.
