Update: We played our second show, then I got kicked out.

 

Hey everyone, I just thought it would be cool to share that my band, called Harmony Layne, has finally played live last Saturday (22nd), and I finally got to be on a stage for once! I got a Facebook livestream of it right here, where we play the following songs (I’m not sure if all of them are in the livestream or not):

You guys sound pretty good! I like your original stuff, there’s some catchy beats in there. Nice job on the unprepared encore songs. Might be the recorded sound but it seems like you guys lose sync with your drummer occasionally but seeing as it’s your first time onstage I think I can overlook it. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />

Thank you very much! We did work really hard for that show, and we still got some sound faults with ourselves that we need to fix because a show is set up differently than playing in a garage is, and the sound dudes only knew to set us up like default settings or something, Idk how it all works. But now we know that we can probably fix those things, and soon enough we’ll get better with time, and we’ll probably be able to catch on with the drumming easier ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” /> And yeah we were not ready to play those encores either, we didn’t exactly know them completely, and we didn’t know we would have more time haha! I’m glad you like it though, and I appreciate the feedback, I can tell my bandmates that you said that about the drumming ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> Definitely helps!

Honestly I’ve heard bands who have been out for 20+ years go off beat from each other or mess up so I don’t look at that stuff too hard.

But I think you guys did a wonderful job! Much better than I’d be able to do!
