Is it possible to play custom songs in multiplayer if both have the same songs?
Not on an unmodded Xbox 360. I think you can on the Wii. You probably can on the PS3 since it needs to be modded anyway but I’m not sure. Let’s wait for Wii and PS3 players to chime in. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
It’s possible to play customs on the Wii as long as those customs have the same Song ID, which shouldn’t be a huge issue.
Wii/PS3 work, although with PS3 its too risky to try since CFW triggers bans pretty fast
If you don’t mind losing pro mode/keys/harmonies too you can recompile customs for RB2 with a little work for 360 online customs

Recompile for RB2? How? I’m interested ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Or you could re-tempo map the songs so that they actually fool TU5 into thinking they’re allowed songs and play them like that. Or not, in case you like your mental health. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>

Basically compile it as a RB2 RBA (downgrade to rock band 2 standards and compile it with Magma 1.0, then build a con file using the files ripped from that RBA using RB DLC Tools

I actually wondered about this, every time I’ve tried to do it TU5 rejects it anyways.
