The FFX soundtrack is pretty great. I chill out to tracks like that when I go hiking. Thanks for making it here!
October 15, 2018 at 1:27 am #501413Yes I love the calmness of a lot of the songs. One of my favorites.
December 23, 2018 at 5:29 am #502560A few new ones today:
Barns Courtney – “Glitter and Gold”. This was used in the Netlfix show “Safe” as the opening song. You might also have heard this in that great Marvel YouTube fan made vid that has over 2.5 Mil views.

Vertical Horizon – “Shackled”. Last track off their biggest album. Not one of their major hits, but my favorite, and not sung by the lead singer of all the radio hits.

January 1, 2019 at 7:09 pm #502738UPDATE 01/01/2019: Daemon Hatfield’s “1985”. Daemon works at IGN and is the host of the podcast Game Scoop, and he has played this song on the podcast multiple times, especially around Christmas time. This is the Acoustiv version of the song, which I like much better.

January 13, 2019 at 4:44 am #502946UPDATE 01/12/18: A song from Loreena McKennitt “The Mummers’ Dance”. she makes music that is very Celtic based from Scottland and Ireland. Guitar follows the bag pipes mostly, bass follows bass/violin, drums are mostly some type of bongos and drums aren’t my charting strength but hey you get to play something there. And vocals as usual should be spot on.

January 13, 2019 at 6:53 am #502948I’ll take “Song I never expected to end up as a custom” for 500 Alex.
January 13, 2019 at 9:17 pm #502956Haha You’ll definitely find a ton of those in my thread.
January 16, 2019 at 3:03 am #502979UPDATE 01/15/19 – Michael Jackson’s “Earth Song”. I found a few multi track stems on you tube to help chart some of the guitar that you can barely hear, especially at the end, as well as the bass and harmonies. The problem was, none of them lined up time wise so I couldn’t make this multitrack. Guitar will follow some orchestra and synth until the guitar is able to be heard more prominently. As far as the Harmonies go, I’ve never been great at harmonizing, and usually I keep my harmony charts to sections that are obvious to be heard, but with the backing track I found on YouTube, I charted the Harmonies as best I could.
Also another note: I know this was on a lot of people’s requests lists, but I also know a lot of people are less than thrilled with how I chart things and what I chart and lack of reductions, which I completely understand. With that said, I encourage any of more perfectionist charters to take this and do what you must to make this a full on HMX quality custom, because it deserves it. The leg work has already been done and the hardest part (The main vocals) are already done. If I can provide anything that would help in charting that and making it that quality such as my .rpp, please let me know.

Oh wow!!!….this is one of the ones I’ve been wanting of Michael for years. Thank you so much…I’ll be happy to accept this any way you have it with vocals charted, and if anyone does work on it as well as you discuss, I’ll watch for it.
January 17, 2019 at 3:27 pm #502997This is one of the Michael songs i’ve been dreaming to see as a custom! Thank you so much! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
January 20, 2019 at 7:25 pm #503055UPDATE 01-20-2019: First one is Dionne Farris “I Know” 90’s hit. The guitar follows mostly rythym unless the slide guitar is prominent. Harmonies are charted as best I could but main vocals are charted spot on as usual with my customs.

Christina Perri’s “Jar of Hearts”. Guitar and Keys have the same chart which follows the piano, bass follows strings.

Carrie Underwood – “Two Black Cadillac’s”. Bass follows bass/strings. Only harmonies that are charted are sections that are obvious.

Hey. I downloaded this over the weekend, and no matter what, I cannot get this to show up in my game. I even used the C3 converter to try to turn it into Live, then back to con. Still does not show up in the game. Can you check and fix??
January 22, 2019 at 2:22 am #503079Hello. So unfortunately I’m not sure what there is really to fix with it? It works in my game and right now it’s sitting at 120 downloads or so and this is the first I’m hearing of this. My suggestions is to remove the song from your system, delete your song cache, put a newly downloaded file on the system and rebuild the song cache. Short of that I’m not sure what else could be the issue.
January 22, 2019 at 5:31 am #503080UPDATE 01-21-19:
Live – “Forever May Not Be Long Enough” from the Mummy Returns soundtrack. This track had a interesting situation arise after I started charting. The version I have is from the Mummy Returns Soundtrack, and during the Chorus, you only hear the gravely voice without any acutal melody in his voice. The version off their Album “V” has singing in that part instead of talkies, so here’s what I did: I charted the singing part of the song onto one of the Harmonies chart, so if you’re familiar with this song, even though you can’t hear it, sing what you normally would and you’ll be good. The main vocal chart has the chorus as talkies. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, then don’t worry about it, but for the ones who know this song really well, I wanted to let you know.

Barbra Streisand – “Papa, Can You Hear Me?” This is from the Movie Yentl. So the vocal chart is great, but I’m warning you ahead of time, the instrument charts are pretty terrible, even for my standards. The charts all have the same notes. I’d really only recommend downloading this song if you really love it and are willing to deal with the bad instruments and mainly wanna sing it. I’m not a huge fan, but this is a gift for a vocalist in the family so that’s the only chart I focused on but wanted to share incase anyone else is interested or maybe wants to clean it up.

January 24, 2019 at 5:20 am #503104UPDATE 01/23/19: Ingrid Michaelson’s “Time Machine” Guitar follows Keys and guitar. Drums are charted as best as I know how. Vocals are the best as usual. No Harmonies charted on this one.
