Yeah sure. I just wish I had the time to do them, but wanted to throw out in case anyone else wanted to
So they don’t get lost.
October 15, 2017 at 5:14 pm #491510UPDATE 10/15/17 – My first custom in 3 years. The Theme from the game Night Trap. Expert only (as usual), all instruments except keys. The charts are playable but might not be “accurate” due to the inability to actually hear the track at times because the audio quality given the original master is rough. For those familiar with my work, any video game related songs will be under the artist name “Video Games”, so they’re kept together since I made a lot back in the day.
(Visualizer post would be here, but it keeps saying connection lost and I’ve been out of the game so long, I don’t know if there’s an updated way to do it. sorry)

October 15, 2017 at 6:50 pm #491525Very pleased to see a new release by you. I watched the whole making of Night Trap on youtube a few weeks ago. What an ambitious game for the time. It’s awesome that the original creator is making a sequel now.
October 15, 2017 at 7:21 pm #491528Yes indeed and it was a kicker to play the game 25 years later again. The remaster is so well done surprisingly.

Man I’ve missed doing these stupid video game related customs. I’m gonna be doing a lot more than before (meaning more than 1 song every 2 years) maybe once every 2 months or so time permitting. Here’s one I just finished. It’s from the 2015 Sony exclusive Until Dawn – “O’ Death”. It was used in the title sequence after the prologue is complete. Many versions of this song exist, but this is my favorite. As with all my video game customs, the Artist will be listed as “Video Games” but if you’d like to adjust it in the dta file before uploading to your system, the actual composer is Jason Graves.

January 14, 2018 at 6:19 pm #494264UPDATE 01-14-17 – Did a song from a relatively unknown band , Tricky, called “Excess”. The song was featured on the Queen of the Damned soundtrack and was used in the move Thirteen Ghosts when they’re all pulling up to the house. A couple fun facts: The lead singer tried his hand at acting and was the right hand man of Zorg in the movie “The Fifth Element.” Also, the 3rd Harmony part is a guest appearance from Alanis Morissette.

A few random songs:
Brad Paisley – “You’ll Never Leave Harlan Alive”
This was used in the season 1 and 2 finale of the show Justified. The guitar follows mostly the lead and slide guitar with a little banjo during dead spots.

Robert Plant & Alison Krauss – “Fortune Teller”
Wife request. I’ll never vouch for the “accuracy” of the note charts but they are fun to play each track. Vocals are spot on as usual with my customs though.

March 11, 2018 at 9:57 am #496005Decided to pop into this thread because it got bumped, found some neat treasures!
I think it’s especially cool to find some video game tunes because they tend to be hard to find in the database (having to try out the name of the game, the name of the composer, or in Metal Gear Rising’s case like 3 different artists!).
Thanks for the Metal Gear stuff! It was great to see some other video game stuff in the database like Guilty Gear, was a bit surprised nobody ever did Command & Conquer though.
March 14, 2018 at 6:09 am #496071Thanks. Yeah my stuff unfortunately is lost deep in the forums because I was huge in the early days of C3 and had one of the more active threads earlier on, but just kinda dropped off, but now doing more stuff again.

Little Big Town “Boondocks”. Guitar mostly follows the slide and chords because the banjo is hard to hear and decipher. Solo Vocals are great, harmonies are to the best of my ability. Charts might not be accurate but are fun to play.

March 18, 2018 at 9:27 pm #496162UPDATE 03-18-18
From the NES game Castlevania. Plays during the first level. Each track follows something different. Charted to the best of my ability. As usual, this is listed under video games, but if you’d like to change the artist to the correct one, I suggest using CON tools to do so before uploading to the console.

March 20, 2018 at 12:48 am #496223Excellent choice of tune to author. Thanks
March 20, 2018 at 5:42 pm #496245That is awesome! I’ve had this in my head for a long while now, and what better way to keep it there than to play it in RB?
March 24, 2018 at 11:13 pm #496366update 03/24/18 – From the movie Spider Man “Hero”. Instruments are to the best of my ability, as we well as harmonies based off of what I could clearly hear. Vocals are good.
THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR OF THE GUITAR CHART, AND INSPIRATION TO DO THIS SONG COMPLETE WAS H3ADShOt3. THE TEMPO MAP, VOCAL CHART, BASS CHART, DRUM CHART, AND CLEANING UP OF THE GUITAR CHART ARE MINE.
