The actual Pirates of the Caribean the ride at Disneyland theme song would be pretty epic.
October 29, 2013 at 9:35 pm #408614UPDATE 10/29/13 – A movie custom this time around. This one from the 2006 Jeremy Piven and Ryan Reynolds movie, Smokin’ Aces, soundtrack done by Clint Mansell, and the song “Dead Reckoning”. Plays at the very end of the movie with Reynolds’ character learns that Sparraza’s son is Buddy Israel, and all of his fellow agents death were part of a expendable mission, and he unplugs the power to the life support of Sparraza. If you know the movie, you know the song. There’s no words in this song, vocals just follow along.
October 31, 2013 at 4:42 pm #408717UPDATE – A few more Guitar Hero converts which follow the rules outlined on the first page of missing features. These will be the LAST of my Guitar conversions. Everything that was in Guitar Hero is now in Rock Band that I wanted after I did all my conversions.

October 31, 2013 at 7:08 pm #408724I’m really stoked for Double Vision! By the way, what is the difference between your version of Sultans of Swing compared to the one already floating around?
October 31, 2013 at 7:40 pm #408725I didn’t even know there was one floating around. Ghtorb3 never did one to my knowledge. Trojan did “Money for Nothing” but never saw Sultans before, so honestly it may be the same. If you have one already that has basic chart from Gh with overdrives and drum fills , id say nothing. This is a straight Gh conversion, but with a shit ton of overdrives as I always do.
October 31, 2013 at 7:44 pm #408726If someone has both of the Sultains of Swing, can someone test them out to see if they are the same, most of the Guitar Hero Charts puts me at Dire Straits.

Anyhow thanks for the conversions. I believe this is the one I have that was posted by Ziagg http://www.sendspace.com/file/b891fb
I recently did Pro Drum videos of two Metallica 2X bass pedal songs you charted. Here is hoping for more 2X bass pedal songs in the future. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_cheeky.001.gif” />

October 31, 2013 at 8:59 pm #408729My guess is it’s the same but multitrack. I don’t have any more x2 versions planned at the moment. The whole reassigning the songs a new name and ID so they won’t overtake the single kick drives me nuts. If I were to do more, it would be with the disclaimer that the single kicks were gone, cause if just take the MiD out of the regular version, add my double kicks, and repackage. But anyways sorry none planned for the moment. I just really wanted some of the good Metallica ones lol

It has a new feature that makes 2X bass pedal versions alot easier. No worries though man, author what you want!
October 31, 2013 at 11:17 pm #408736I did. That’s a little different though. If I did that if have to build a song from scratch and compile a new song from existing MIDIs and pass it through magma, as opposed to editing a song already in existence which is MUCH faster.
November 1, 2013 at 7:46 am #408755I did. That’s a little different though. If I did that if have to build a song from scratch and compile a new song from existing MIDIs and pass it through magma, as opposed to editing a song already in existence which is MUCH faster. That sounds like you have not tried to use the feature at all…or read the how-to on the Magma thread. I believe (and hope) that your songs right now are being passed through Magma and that’s how you have the files you’re sharing. This new feature in Magma only requires that you have a PART DRUMS and a PART DRUMS_2X midi track. just copy/paste your drum part, change the name to include _2X and add the extra kicks. bam. In the same magma project you’ve been (hopefully) using, when you feed it that new midi file, it’ll detect it by itself and when you press build you’ll have separate 1x and 2x files.
November 1, 2013 at 8:33 am #408759Oh yeah everything I do is passed through magma when I do my customs and converts. Except for the x2 bass pedal versions I did, which I haven’t done one in months. When I did them, I took an existing Con, extracted the mid, added the kicks, and repackaged, while changing some of the .dat info so it would be a separate song from the single kick versions, but I haven’t done one of those in months so yeah I may be behind on easier ways to update and existing con with x2 bass, while not making it the same ID as the single kick versions.

November 10, 2013 at 5:13 am #409085Just played Belle with the family singing all the parts. A blast.

November 19, 2013 at 10:58 pm #409437UPDATE 11/19/13 – A few more Disney songs, all from the same movie. Not animated, but it’s Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. This movie has some great orchestra, and I really wanted to play it in Rock Band. The first one is “Fog Bound”. Very basic intro, This track is longer on the album, but I cut out the part after the little intro that had Jack Sparrow’s main riff. This is guitar and bass only. Bass is the same as guitar but no chords. Vocals follow along.

Next is “The Black Pearl”. This has a booming orchestra in it, and plays when the Black Pearl first shows up in the movie. Guitar follows the main orchestra, bass follows the deeper parts of the background, and drums are pretty cool. Vocals to follow along

The last one is the song that plays during the credits, “He’s a Pirate”. Probably the most familiar song to anyone whos seen the movie before. All instruments except keys, and there’s vocals to follow along.
