What would cause an unpitched vocal text event not to show up to with its corresponding charted note?
I have a WIP with 4 unpitched notes that show up on the vocal feed, but no lyrics are shown for them.
The text events appear to be aligned and properly annotated.
A too long phrase maybe.
I had a problem like this once. Try splitting the phrase like Far said. Maybe also delete the notes that aren’t showing up and rewrite them. Also you could try copying all the vocals and pasting them to a new track. Maybe there might be some dirty midi notes in there?
“dirty MIDI”, I like the sound of that. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
I’ll give these suggestions a try.
Thanks!!!
Phrase length is my likely guess, though it could also be a missing lyrics or an extra lyrics on a note preceding the ‘missing’ one.
I’ve had words not show up owing to a missing or extra + lyric elsewhere in a phrase on RBHP stuffs (because I converted a non-talkie to a talkie for a harm part and forgot to cut the lyric), but that should get caught during build.
espher nailed the problem here.
It was related to phrasing.
I cut the phrasing up a bit more and that fixed the issue.
I’m not sure what rule I was breaking on phrase length, but there appears to be a limit.

Technically, I would be the third person to have nailed it since the other two replies mentioned the same thing. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
