I went to build my song in Magma, following the tutorial, but I’ve ran into an error in MIDI Compiler when i go to build the song. It gives me a bunch of misaligned lyric and note warning for my vocals and Harm 1 tracks and then just stops. When I go into REAPER to fix these, I either find it doesn’t look or sound right right with the song, or that the spot on the track it points to is either in the middle of a note or none existent. Also the lyric errors seem to all point to lyrics that are there and properly lined up.
The log looks like this:
Alot of the times it may LOOK like it’s alligned when it isn’t. Try deleting the note and lyric and putting them in again, making sure the magent icon is turned on
Delete all lyrics and reimport them from your TXT.
Or…
If you have the right installation files, you should already have the macro to hit “shift+A” to Align a selected lyric (or lyrics!) to the note that it’s under.
Also, make sure you’ve eliminated note overlaps.
OK so now its saying something about root notes for the real guitar/bass parts. I assume these are for pro G/B? do i need them in my midi, and if so how do i fix this error.
Mute those tracks. You don’t need them.
