Tomorrow (5/14), starting around 2:30 EST, we will begin our 4th annual 100 song Rock out. In case you have not seen me post about this in past years, the 3 main players in our group, vote for our favorite songs.

This year we have 3 categories (RB Customs, Rocksmith, RB Official DLC), broken down by decades.

Number of songs per decade was calculated by the percentage of songs we played in each decade in the past year.

We have 6 people coming, so no one should get worn out, but someone will probably get drunk and pass out before its over (Im looking at you Bryon!). It’s actually 101 songs, as Mary Jane’s Last Dance is the closer, and was not counted in the voting process.

I will be streaming this on my Twitch channel, http://www.twitch.tv/maybetowelie. I hope some of you stop by to check it out! Here is the complete setlist, in the order we will play it.

Hey, you’re opening with “Hunger Strike”, I’m honored! Also, be sure you’ve downloaded the latest version of Nunchuck & Sy’s “Don’t Come Around Here No More” and “Ohio” – both had vocals upgrades recently. Have a blast, I’ll try to check in!

This is insane! How many hours does it take to play 100 songs?

I presume you guys trade off instruments, yes?

I couldn’t imagine singing even 25 or 30 songs in one sitting. No amount of alcoholic lubrication could properly preserve one’s throat after such an ordeal.

I have plans this afternoon and early evening, but I will try to check in tonight to see what’s happening. That’s if I’m not playing Rock Band myself by that time! <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

This is a pretty nifty idea. I might want to try this with my group.

By adding up the setlist times, we will be playing 8 hours, 33 minutes, and 55 seconds worth of music. Between breaks, and the standard technical difficulties that I have become accustomed to, It will probably be 12 to 14 hours total. We do trade off on instruments. I’m excited to have 6 people coming, as in past years it has only been 3 or 4 of us.

I dig your Lemmy Kilmister. Though I must say your drummer seems out of place from the rest of the band.

Proud to see my Champagne Supernova custom made the cut – thanks and hope you’re having a great time!

Just checked to see Green Grass and High Tides – great song. Tough song. Then it’s off to the next set.

I know you guys had fun, wish I could have been there! :c00l:

Thanks to everyone who tuned in! I’m sorry the stream wasnt the greatest, but it was the best I could do with the middle of nowhere DSL I was working with. 48 hours later, and I think im still a bit hungover. Great time though!

The trick was to drink every day until about Thursday.

That worked for me at least!
