I think for some reason a lot of people think they are better than the tools offered. I’m not referring to i0brendan0 directly, I mean generally. I read a lot of “No, I prefer to do things manually, thet turn out better” that honestly makes no sense. For example, do people really trim sustains manually? Do they realize that sustains need to be trimmered to exact specifications that CAT follows perfectly and it takes 1 second to do them? For drums animations you still need to copy all your notes to the animation section first, which is what CAT does. Don’t like they way it comes out? Change it around, but at least most of the work is done. Etc. etc.
Anyway, sorry for hijacking the thread. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif” />
Haha, you’re just fine. I actually do all of those manually. It’s just how I like to do it. I mean yeah there’s a program for it, but sometimes programs can screw up unexpectedly. And since I have the ability to do what the program can do, it’s just a fail-safe measure for me to not have to worry. Yeah it takes me 5-20 minutes to do what CAT could in less than 1. It’s just a security thing. And I think I do pretty well.
