but thing about that is i wonder is why take it down now when rock band 4 isn’t out yet……… this isn’t a moan or anything i respect the community not taking money from harmonix etc really good but like kinda seems sense of take it down when people can actually buy it not when its being “proposed” because for all we know harmoix could have a rights issue with that song before launch and have to take it down anyway, unlikely i know.

 

Also i get that no releasing songs that are official but whats say if you wanted to chart a live or cover version of that song like mikey bolts – family guy version of uptown funk… or say like Nickelback theres a live in atlanta version of Animals ……animals is ofcourse official dlc but the live version isn’t……would live different versions be acceptable ?

Covers are perfectly fine to use. If Harmonix did a studio version and you do live version thats fine. My take from this is that even though rockband 4 hasn’t came out yet, it’s still the fact that they are GOING to make money from it. I love it when Authors brings songs to RB3 that I’d never thought about being in the game, because now I remember this song again, and it’s now expanded the variety of my custom’s library and added to the fun times playing RB3. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> Thanks!

Love “Son of Man”, but there’s a few issues…

 

1. Phil Collins’ name is misspelled in-game and on the file name.

2. Shouldn’t there be more guitar in the song (particularly rhythm)? There’s huge sections of the song where there’s nothing and I’m sure I can hear it.

3. In the lyrics, “mountain” is misspelled “maintain”.

4. Right when the song changes key, the pitch of the vocals should be higher (just on that note, as far as we can tell).

 

Honestly, I wish we had more Disney songs like this.
