I have finished authoring my first song, and as such I am fairly new to Magma. Upon attempting to build my song, Iam met with an error:

ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (HARM1): MIDI track name event must appear at 1:1:000; found track name ‘HARM1’ at 1:1:002

I have tried moving this text event, recreating it, and manually adjusting it’s path, and no matter what I do, this error occurs. I would love any help that could be provided. If another forum topic covers this, my apologies for repeating it.

i had this error before and i realized it was because i had did an incorrect time signature change which misaligned all my midi tracks, so check all your measures and time signatures if any. make sure none of your measures are Odd , example measures 1 – 2 – 3.3 – 4. the 3.3 should be 3 in that example.

make sure your HARM1 midi track is at position 0:00.000 with the “time” bubble selected , right click midi track > item properties

Try letting CAT and/or C3 CON Tools midi cleaner have a go at it.

I can think of lots of ways to fix this. Double click the event to open the dialog and make the neccessary changes. or highlight the item, cut, press the home key (which returns to 1:1:000), paste.

    Good luck!

This solved it! Now to work through the rest of the errors, haha. Thank you so much!

hmm, it is now saying that everything in the vocals track up until measure 8 is off by 0.002, even after cleaning…

This issue (and many others) was solved after readjusting the “Beats” section of the Reaper file.

This was incorrect, I will stop updating so frequently.

This was fixed by copying the midi tracks onto a new template

Hi there! I discovered spinogambino while talking to a friend from Japan who’s into online games. He mentioned it casually, so I decided to see what it was about. I tried blackjack and started out rough, losing a few hands in a row. Then, suddenly, things started going my way — a couple of lucky cards, and I was back in the game. That quick turn of fortune really made my night.
