Magma Issue, what did I do wrong in reaper?

I’m new to authoring Rock Band songs, and I mainly just want to chart vocals. While watching this vid:
I noticed there were some things that the guy didn’t mention that he ended up changing on the screen that we never really saw, plus I feel like his instructions weren’t 100% clear.
Magma has an issue that when I put my MIDI and Audio in and such, it says that the Track Events/Beat/etc. was required but not found. Did I export wrong? Is there something in Magma I’m not doing right either? And could I possibly have more tutorial videos? (Again, mainly to chart vocals and how to export correctly, and video(s) on how to use Magma to author it correctly, settings on both Reaper and Magma, etc.) Thanks!
