I was talking about Guitar Hero, I also liked the GH hit window more, as I badly want to play the song in Guitar Hero, any I guess I will make a GHWT custom of that song anyway if they never add it

I was about to do the same mistake as you but I then realised the subject of this thread is Guitar Hero.

As if. To date GH WoR stems haven’t been decrypted on anything other than the Wii, which used simplified stems.
It is very unlikely that anything that comes out in 2015+ will be decrypted anytime soon since the guys who were doing that for GH and RB games have since stopped and willingly made themselves hard to find for reasons we can imagine.
BandFuse has been out for a bit now and nobody has cracked those stems either.
EDIT: Not to mention, C3 has never had a problem with bringing GH content to Rock Band because GH died even before Rock Band did. If GH comes back and is actively releasing content, I don’t see why C3 wouldn’t treat that the same way as with RB content.

I hope they put out a 360 version too, although I doubt they will.
Harmonix might do something like that, but I doubt activision would.
That being said, I think if there was to be another RB, they should focus more on the stuff that’s already working than adding new stuff.
– Improve the instruments
– Bigger on-disk setlist
– TONS of customization for my rocker/band
– Visual upgrades
– Bring back online battles
They can almost certainly be able to do this stuff if going forward the games are on only Xbox One and PS4 due to more space being on the disc. If they were to release the games on 360/PS3 I would expect a big mandatory download or the game would ship with 2 discs.
I guess if they release a new rock band or guitar hero, it will be my first time being around when they show the setlist, as I started playing music games after all the games released, so when do they show the setlist? days before release or even earlier.
Oh man. I hadn’t even thought about new peripherals. I’m going to need more space on my wall for new guitars. My wife will not be happy

I plan on keeping the 360 with customs, so I don’t really care too much about the library. I’m probably one of the few people who doesn’t mind keeping another game and console for the legacy stuff. On principle, I won’t buy anything for next gen that was out this gen, but that’s really my only stipulation. I just hope my 360 Xplorer Guitars and iONs Drums work with the new games.
Can we clarify that Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii are NOT current gen, they are last gen.
Current gen is Xbox One, PS4 and Wii U. They’ve been out for years. They’re not “next.”
With that in mind, a new game will definitely be on current gen. If they make it available in last gen, I would expect something along the lines of RB3 with no title updates on the Wii as compared to RB3 with title update 5 on Xbox 360. Kinda the same, but not really.
I think I’m just getting lost in old age. at 24? I don’t know.
It’s funny because I have 2 of the Current Gen systems, and all 3 of the Last.

You’re far from the only one. It’s just that people tend to want to think that what they have is current and the upgrade is next gen. But obviously when these consoles have been out so long, just got to realize we’re living in the past. I got two current gen, missing PS4 but that’s already in the plans.
Last gen only have Xbox 360 since I sold my Wii a long time ago.
And last-last-last gen I just got a PS1 for $10 at a thrift store
I wonder if these new games will be available for the PS1.
