Looking to rockband 3 on my ps3 for cheap.. is a rockband 4 bundle + rockband 3 game-only purchase viable?

      Yo, does anyone know if there are any issues with using the new playstation 4 instruments in rockband 3? I’d like to get rockband 3 but I can’t find a bundle and buying instruments individually is way expensive. I think getting a rock band 4 from amazon for $200 and then getting the rockband 3 game only for around $40 would be my cheapest route. Does it work?!

          I don’t see why you’d think that Rock Band 4 instruments work on the previous-gen consoles. They don’t. Rock Band 4 instruments only work on their respected consoles and PC. PS3 and 360 controllers, however, work on Rock Band 4. For PS3-PS4, you just plug in the adapter into the PS4 and it’s read by Rock Band 4 (you can’t control anything outside of the game, though). For 360-ONE, you need to buy the Legacy Adapter and sync up your controllers through that.
