Does Le Fluffie only supports the .con files from the songs that C3 post? Or can I extract ANY .con file? Cause there are a lot of songs that I really want to extract the .mogg file!

Any will do, especially considering your interests.

It will work for any CON/LIVE file that is a Rock Band song. There are many other CON/LIVE files that are not songs, they are used for a bunch of other purposes. Le Fluffie only works with songs. If it’s a song, sure thing.

I tried with a couple of songs from here: http://www.xbox360iso.com/rock-band-gh-t556152.html?t=556152, I can extract them, but when I open the .mogg file, it ALWAYS gives an error <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_frown.gif” />

I wasn’t sure if the songs from there where .con files, so I tried with this ones: http://www.xbox360iso.com/rock-band-3-t429413.html?t=429413, but they don’t seem to work either :sigh:

You’re confusing things. Le Fluffie will open the CON. Opening the CON allows you to see and extract the files inside. If the files inside are encrypted, as is the case with the MOGGs you are trying to open, that is NOT Le Fluffie’s purpose, and the files will remain encrypted.

Opening an encrypted MOGG and opening a CON file are two very different things. Le Fluffie can do one. Not the other.

Oh, thanks for the clear up, guess I just gonna have to wait for their release as .oggs files :sweatdrop:

You do realize that you can open the MOGG files with Audacity, right? That’s how I got the RB3 version of PrinceWhateverer’s Taking Flight song in my music library! Extracted the MOGG file, opened it in Audacity, and then basicly ‘save as’ a MP3 file.

Note: Wanted the RB3 version cause it is a bit longer and doesn’t fades away during the ending solo.

That only works with moggs created with Magma for customs use. Officially released DLC or official RBN content has moggs that are encrypted and Audacity can not read.

Ah. Though now I’m personally confuse on why anyone want to get the MOGG file from official DLC… I can understand why the MIDI file though.

There’s all kinds of reasons. Most of them are shady, I’ve seen at least one person (on another forum) ask for it because he wanted to learn the guitar part so wanted the isolated guitar audio.

Either way, it’s not something that Le Fluffie will ever do and not something we can discuss on how to do on these forums, so let’s not.
