Checking into viability of a PRO GUITAR track… Holy Sh*t… That solo… (think I have to pass?)

Haha, yeah, the solo is pretty nuts. If you still want to give it a shot though, I’d be more than happy to provide my original files.

Uh, hey guys. It’s been a little while, but I have something new for you all:

Converted from Guitar Hero: Van Halen

    Link: http://kngi.org/rb/conversions/vanhalen … rb3con.zip

This song is so stupid, and I love it. It’s by no means perfect, but it’s playable. Let me know if there are any issues!

Played this yesterday, good job on this fun song & yes it is a wicked solo. I saw only one thing that could be changed in my opinion. The last overdrive on guitar is to late, it leads right up to the big rock ending. Not a major issue but thought I would give feedback

Thanks for the feedback, Doc. I just fixed it, same download link.

More Van Halen conversion goodness! I think this forum is gonna get most of the remaining Guitar Hero songs out there pretty soon, at this rate.

Unfortunately I haven’t had the chance to work on that one, but I’ll make it a point to get it out there soon!

Download: http://kngi.org/rb/cons/virtsflashcryst … rb3con.rar (make sure to use WinRAR or 7zip to extract the CON)

This will be my last release for awhile. I’ve been sitting on this one since I haven’t had the chance to work on it, so I’m just throwing it up as-is since I’ve been getting requests for it. It isn’t nearly as cleaned up as I’d like, but it should be playable. Bass charted by me, everything else by Inimitable.

After extracting the con file for Crystal Flash, I try uploading it to USB drive using Party Buffalo. This is the error I get:

    Memory stream is not expandable.

Any ideas? Has anyone got this to work yet?

I’ve played Crystal Flash (great chart, must have been a lot of work!) a few times with no problems (well, except that the Rhythm/Keys chart starts playing Bass for a while in that part with lots of bass fills, but that’s a different kind of problem!)

Yeah, that’s one of the issues from inimitable’s charting. This was originally an RB2-era custom, so bass was charted as a rhythm part with some of the more obvious audible bass parts thrown in. I had planned to try and fix it up, but real life reared ugly mug, and I haven’t had the chance to touch anything for a few months now. Hopefully I can get back to it, but if anyone out there wants to take a look for themselves, I’d be more than happy to share the REAPER files with you.
