    Hi All,

     

    Kem is at it again! He will be streaming his authoring starting on Monday, June 12th

     

    EVERY WEEKNIGHT!!!

     

    9pm Eastern! Come and see Behind the Madness!

     

    Tentative Schedule:

     

    Monday: Bass and more on The Sounds’ Midnight Sun!

    Tuesday: Can’t You Hear Me Knocking Bass revision!

    Wednesday: Learning to Tempo Map following Spindoctor’s Prescription!

    Thursday: More on Midnight Sun!

    Friday: Drums, Vox, and Venue on Something to Die For! Not leaving til it’s done! Bonus in-game footage!

    So, episode 1 went pretty well. I got about half of a guitar chart done.

    Edit: Also, I am curious – what software do you use to record Reaper?

    Hi doa, thanks for watching!

     

    I use RECentral to stream and record at the same time. It isn’t my favorite streaming program or my favorite recording program, but it’s free and I’m too cheap and lazy to move to something else <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> Unless perhaps I get a ripping recommendation for something, I guess.

     

    As for the instrument parts, it depends on the song. I do a lot of collaborating, so on those songs it will depend on what my partners and I decide we want to work on. For the songs I do myself, I strive to have a chart for every instrument I can reasonably make out. My keys charts are 5-lane only most of the time, and my vocals are at best midi-derived, so be aware of that before you play my songs.

     

    Also, I am uploading all the past episodes as I type this, so they should appear in the master post before too long. Episode 3 might take a bit longer as I have to splice together the two parts.

    I’m sure that I will learn plenty watching your stream – I literally just started learning to author less than a week ago <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif” />

    Yeah RECentral is what came with my streaming/recording device.

     

    I hope you are able to learn something from my streams – it’s one of the reasons I do them. Just keep in mind that I am not an expert myself <img decoding=” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” /> I guess I would identify more as a Journeyman author.

    Well … my &*%$*%^#&*%^#in’ streaming device isn’t working properly today, of course. So no stream today but I will try again tomorrow.
