The Hush Sound – Medicine Man

 

 

 

I first heard this one on an ad for an episode of House. I was hooked instantly. The band kind of has a light, jazzy feel to it with lots of keys. The keys on this were authored by me, but the Pro Keys are autogen. Vocals are unpitched.

 

If anyone wants to add real Pro Keys or pitched Vocals just let me know and I will make the files available.

Dash Riprock and I collaborated to bring you this ’80s classic. It was featured in Back to the Future Part 2, but not included in the film’s official soundtrack.

 

Also I changed the name of the thread to reflect that most if not all of my customs were contributed to by many other authors. We are now Kem & Friends Customs!

January 20th

 

Added a bunch of my older releases to the Customs Database:

 

• The Sounds – Shake Shake Shake: Updated some pitches
• George Thorogood and the Destroyers – Move It On Over (Live): Added Unique ID
• The Donnas – Fall Behind Me: Updated Drum Chart, Added Unique ID
• The Rolling Stones – Prodigal Son (Live): Added Unique ID
• The Rolling Stones – You Gotta Move (Live): Added Unique ID
• The Rolling Stones – I’m Free (Live): Added Unique ID

The remaining songs, Brown Sugar and Stray Cat Blues, are giving me trouble.

 

Brown Sugar – The bass chart is not accurate in some places where the bass is very hard to hear. I have been unsuccessful in bringing that instrument out enough to fix it. The guitar chart is fixed in some places where the pitch was inaccurate, and a unique ID has been given.

 

Stray Cat Blues – My files from this, my very first custom ever, are so unorganized that I can’t figure out which project and midi I need to go off of to fix it. All it needs are a unique ID and a proper autogenerated venue (this was before I discovered the extraneous lighting event at the beginning of the template that prevented the autogen).

Next Thursday, February 4th, it’s the premiere of my new customs series House of Customs and tonight I’m gonna release the pilote episode composed of one song that me, Nunchuck and Sy have put together.

 

What you still don’t know about the series is that each release will be accompanied by an episode guide-style post and that post will also contain a neat addition: I’m gonna have a guest reviewer for each episode. The reviewer will post his/her opinions on the episode: they will be given the songs in advance so that they are able to play them and give their thoughts to you. For the first triple episode, @Jimi369 is gonna be the guest reviewer because he playtested the songs and knows them inside out, but the for the following episode I’ll be selecting a reviewer each week. People who helped me work on the series, good friends and trusted members of the community will be the contacted first and I thank you all in advance for guest reviewing the songs if you choose to do so. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif”>
