Outstanding collection of songs that perfectly suit the holiday theme! I knew there was a theme pack coming this week, but I expected to be a little disappointed (based on some other theme DLC from Harmonix in the past), but you guys nailed it. Thank you so much for the hard work!

 

Cannot wait to sing Team America, Horse with no Name & Supertramp. My friend should be excited for Peaches and the RBHP PotUSA harmonies as he’s been waiting for more PotUSA for a while.

Forgot to ask. On Surfin’ USA were any changes made to the song from the previous non C3 release other than the addition of PROGB? My friends and I have always had trouble hitting those previously released Beach Boys songs on vocals and am wondering if any tweaks were made. Or maybe we just suck at singing Beach Boys… Could go either way.

Album art discussion/debate was had and I can assure you the argument was put forth to legitimize the selections.

 

There are methods to adjust it to taste (or to switch it to match the rest of the album, in Peaches’ case) if you are so inclined.

You can crack open the custom using Le Fluffie C3 (Windows only, I know, I know) and adjust the songs.dta file plus replace the album art (one of Nemo’s apps I think has an album art replacer, and it might be Le Fluffie, but I can’t remember and can’t check right now). In the case of the PotUSA song, you can just rip the album art file from one of the DLC tracks and replace the one in this package with it.

Yes. First of all, though, it has proper pro keys with a super rad solo. SUPER RAD I SAID! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_biggrin.gif”> Also, since I was extremely inexperienced at vocals and since The Beach Boys are impossibly difficult to fit in a 3 harmony configuration, not all songs, as you noticed, were perfect (let’s just stick to that…). So, yes, it was tweaked, however I have to say the main line was actually pretty good compared to what I remembered. And HARM2 and 3 were not bad either. In general though the song is now cleaner, more precise and more consistent (and there was a glaring error in 2 HARM1 phrases). If you don’t get tangled up in that word jumble composed by all the most improbable names ever (Waimea Bay and La Jolla are just awesome), you should 100% this every single time. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
