Hello!
I’ll preface this by saying this is probably a very stupid question
I’ve just finished up charting a drum track for a song and I’m trying to run it through the MIDI Tester, I keep getting a recurring error pop up:
ERROR: MIDI Compiler: (BEAT): Beat track cannot be faster than double time; less than 240 ticks between beats at [103] and [103]
I’ve tried literally everything I can think of to fix it, tried quantising it and even deleted that section of the beat track entirely, only to have the error occur again somewhere around measure 300.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Did you check your tempo map at the 103 measure? Could be the culprit.
Let CAT do the BEAT track for you if you’re not confident about how to set it up, you can always tweak it. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
Thanks for the help guys, completely forgot about CAT, that’ll be helpful for making the single bass pedal chart too!
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but what is CAT?
C3 Automation Tools, check this same subforum. ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_wink.gif”>
