Hi everyone, i don’t know if someone has experience with songs in Spanish. I’m working on my second one, the first came out with no problems, but the second song, in the game and in the cPlayer, the synalephas aren’t working. According to the good song on the cPlayer, the § icon – lovingly referred to as “the galaxy†– shows in the karaoke zone of the lyrics. When I load the second song, those § are replaced with “_”. The accents on top on vowels doesnt work also.
I thought that it would be a Magma problem, but the “Spanish” language is marked. I even tested with other languages with no fix whatsoever. Any help about it? Thanks ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />
Welcome to the wonderful world of character encoding.
What’s most likely happening is that the website you’re grabbing the sign from its in UTF-8 encoding while Reaper is expecting ANSI.
You can either replace all the galaxy characters you currently have with its ANSI equivalent, which is alt+0167 or go into Reaper settings under the MIDI section and check the box that says something along the lines of “export text events as UTF-8”
If you do the second option you’ll also need to change the setting in Magma so it uses UTF-8 encoding as well.
That should fix the issue
