I think this is where I should post this, if not, then feel free to move it.
And I know I said I wouldn’t be back until after new years, but it has come to my attention that all of Alex’s customs have been deleted from the database.
I just want to clarify that it was not me, but rather some asshole that got into Alex’s account.
I, of course, changed the password to his account, but unfortunately that’s all I can do.
So yeah, again, just wanted to say that some asshole got into Alex’s account and deleted everything, in case anybody that had noticed was wondering.
December 23, 2016 at 4:17 pm #479200Pardon my language but
Who the fuck would do that?
I mean..
1)That’s mean
2)They are well done customs
3)That’s just mean, that’s all
I hope you have backups of his charts somewhere, I think I have Cirice on my hard drive, can’t help much, sorry
December 23, 2016 at 4:53 pm #479201Did the records get deleted or the actual files hosted elsewhere? If it’s the DB record can you please tell me a couple of songs so we can check what we can do? Also, I’ll have a look at the login log.

Just the DB entries, the actual files are still on Mega, so it wouldn’t be too impossible for me to re-upload them.
And just some songs he had uploaded?
Here’s his thread, so I guess anything from here.
There was someone fucking around on my IP address the other day, I wonder if this was the same person.

I am aware of all that is going on with your family, and that all sucks. But there’s got to be a limit.
Somebody was “on your IP”, logged in to your brother’s account on this niche forum that only a relatively small number of people know about, and knew enough of our system to zero in on his songs on the database and delete the links. Just because. After you said in one of your posts that you would do something like that when you got upset. And you want us to believe this someone who did this…is not you?
That’s a tall order.
With enough convincing I *might* buy that someone was spoofing your IP address to do something malicious and use you as a dummy/fall guy.
I *might* buy that one of our forum members somehow got access to your brother’s account and deleted his songs.
I can’t for one second believe that both of those things combined into one event.
And I’m trying *really hard* to be nice here. I have a few other thoughts I won’t go into…
December 23, 2016 at 5:32 pm #479204Deleted records can’t be recovered, no, but there is no additional IP used for logging. The least of your worries here should be the login and password if someone from within your own network is accessing the DB to do this or they are spoofing your IP address.
December 23, 2016 at 6:03 pm #479205It seems you are implying that they did only this? I never said whoever was using my IP did only this specifically, this is just the only thing that involves this forum.
They were messing with shit on Alex’s, mine, and my brother-in-law’s accounts on various sites. And I’m not sure what spoofing means, but I have been messaged and almost banned on other sites for issues they were causing on my IP address.
What they did here, deleting those songs, doesn’t even come close to the shit they did on other sites, most which are very much ban-worthy.
But I understand what you’re saying, and I guess it makes sense, so if you don’t want to believe me, that’s fine.
What happened is what happened, that’s all.
I know changing the password probably won’t help now, but I did change the passwords on my accounts on most sites, same for Alex, and I told my brother-in-law to do the same.
And as I said, reuploading wouldn’t be a huge issue, seeing as the Mega files are still up, but thanks anyways.
