Is there a way to rebuild/delete the cache but keep scores?

A few songs aren’t showing up and I think rebuilding the cache would solve that but I’d rather not lose my scores, if possible…

Alternately, if I use c3 con tools quick DTA editor and change ‘song_id’ to something else, the game will think it’s a different song (even if I don’t change anything else) and it might show up… is that correct?

Correct. Also, no way to preserve scores when you delete the cache.

As C16 outlined in his guide here, you can still save scores for official DLC by grabbing TU5 and going through the initial cache load while online with your customs gamesave, which will send your official DLC scores to to leaderboards (DON’T play any songs or do anything that will otherwise modify your gamesave or you may not be able to roll back to TU4.) Then when you need to rebuild the cache in the future, do it in an online TU5 environment to get your scores back. This won’t save scores for customs, but you can at least still keep the play history of a decent chunk of your library.

Which is the whole point, because official scores are posted to the leaderboards.
