No idea, norde just made it sound like that alone broke compatibility. Sure, they could patch that in, which is what I said. But that’s no longer “well, instruments are being made to work, so Stage Kit works automagically”.

Even though I will probably end up getting this game (even though I don’t have a compatible console yet), I will withhold my preorder dollars until we get at least the first batch of song reveals.

I wouldn’t buy a car without kicking the tires first.

But come on, this is like buying your third or fourth Ferrari, after you’ve been driving around in Ferraris of increasing quality for nearly 10 years. This new fancy paddle shifter may not be just what you love, but it’ll still be a Ferrari and you know it’ll be quality.

Meh, it’s probably the prettiest one, but the GH5 guitar is the best.

I’m weary though.

I’m an Xplorer user, and the only other guitar I’ve ever used was a RB1 guitar. Short lived.

I tried to play on a GH3 guitar the other day and very nearly broke my hand doing so. Those raised buttons are murder on me. Vastly prefer the easy slidability of the Gretsch’s recessed buttons.

As for Ferraris, this would be like buying one sight unseen in Death Valley without knowing whether it had AC or not ” src=”/wp-content/uploads/invision_emoticons/default_SA_smile.gif” />

My wooden strats still live on. Sunburst for the 1st floor of my house, Cherry Red for my ground floor where we do parties.
