What if Led Zeppelin allowed their songs for the Rock Band series (and also Guitar Hero and Rocksmith)? This is how I imagine what songs would be chosen for the series and what game they would be in (Not a gazillion songs because that would exhaust their library). I was also cautious with my chooses because I didn’t want to put the best songs all released in the same game and then the DLC would get weaker as time went it on but I still put the songs. Let’s assume the master recordings are left intact and are perfectly fine.

Honestly, Led Zeppelin deserve their own game.
I’ve heard that a Led Zeppelin centered game was considered, but they were only able to concept art and that’s about it. The band probably did not want it, I guess…

Oh it would be horrendous, but be real, most older songs they got covers for. Rush – Tom Sawyer being the main offender. So I highly doubt that theyd get the rights to use the official music until maybe RB2.
I’d say
They’d skip Zeppelin songs for Rock Band 1 (perhaps a cover of Whole Lotta Love as DLC)
Immigrant Song or Communication Breakdown for Rock Band 2
No song for Lego
Rock and Roll for Rock Band 3
A big DLC pack containing: Stairway To Heaven, Black Dog, When The Levee Breaks, Good Times Bad Times, Dazed And Confused, Babe I’m Gonna Leave You, Heartbreaker, Whole Lotta Love (Vault Edition), Since I’ve Been Loving You, Kashmir, Achilles Last Stand and Fool In The Rain
I think they may skip Rock Band 4 but if they did, they’d use some deeper cut for the Rock Band 4 disk (maybe Living Loving Maid)
