I can’t find the answer to this beginners’ question

I’ve searched over what feels like dozens of tutorials and forum threads, but I can’t find where to install all of the files for the plugins I’ve downloaded.
Primarily, where do I install:
- C3ConTools
- CARV
- CAT
- CustomTools
- Magma
- w1limiter-win
I’m sorry if I missed an obvious answer somewhere. They’re all sitting in my downloads folder right now.
I think you need a primer on computer software in general first. This is not a C3-specific thing, you should first visit some forums focused on software to learn more about what a program is, what a plug-in is, what it means to install software, etc.
Took me forever to figure much of this out. Each piece of software has instructions hidden somewhere. For instance, look at
for CARV. Midway down that page, he tells you how to install, and how to get python, and enable these scripts.
Likewise, if you check the CAT pages, there is a reference to the user manual. Click on that, and install instructions are on page 3.
Much of this, like Reaper, and python, will install themselves after you download. For the others, you will have to create directories for them, and unpack the software to those directories.
I’m able to run all of this stuff on a 2007 Windows Vista box. It’s breathtaking.

Soon as my tax return gets here, I’m off to Alienware site to build me a new gaming system !

Nemo is right, if you haven’t considered it already, look into self building, It’s really not as hard as you think, think of it as electronic lego!

But if you know what to look for, then as Nemo said, just buying one is a waste of money.
When you buy one pre-built, or have someone build it for you (i.e. guy that does it as a job), that’s where some of the price comes from, because you are basically paying them to build it for you.
My gaming PC that my friend helped me build not long ago, cost about $650, and has much better parts than the one you linked.
I would give more details, but to be honest, I don’t know much about this stuff, and I would have spent a lot more if I didn’t have my tech-genius friend.
Just look for deals/sales. More money doesn’t always mean better.
